Oscar Isaac is set for the lead role in an upcoming Netflix drama set in a Las Vegas casino.
The show was originally announced in December and hails from creators Brian Koppelman and David Levien. With the casting, Isaac has also entered into a producing deal with the streamer, under which Netflix will have first-look rights on film and series projects with Isaac, Elvira Lind, and Gena Konstantinakos’ production company, Mad Gene.
The official logline for the show describes it as an hour-long drama “set in the high-stakes, sharp-elbowed present-day Las Vegas casino business, which is a modernized but still dangerous version of the legendary city. At the center of which stands Robert ‘Bobby Red’ Redman (Isaac), president of the hottest hotel casino in town, who has to make some long odds moves to try and secure his position and take more ground.”
