Noah Kahan has scored his first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with his fourth album “The Great Divide,” opening with 389,000 equivalent album units.
Kahan’s debut marks the biggest week for a rock album since the charts started measuring by units at the end of 2014. It also becomes the third-biggest week for an album in 2026 behind BTS’ “Arirang” (641,000 units) and Harry Styles’ “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally” (430,000 units), and has the largest streaming week of any album this year.
Additionally, “The Great Divide” had the biggest vinyl sales week for a rock album since electronic tracking began in 1991, with 118,000 units sold across nine vinyl variants.
Elsewhere on the chart, Ella Langley’s “Dandelion” drops from No. 1 to 2, while Morgan Wallen’s “I’m the Problem” bumps back from 2 to 3. Kehlani notches her fourth top 10 with her self-titled album, which bows at No. 4 with 69,000 equivalent album units. This marks the biggest debut for an R&B album from a female artist this year. BTS’ “Arirang” rounds out the top five, dipping one spot from its position last week.
Justin Bieber’s “Swag” also pushes back one spot to No. 6 following a substantial boost from his pair of Coachella headlining performances. Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” returns to the top 10 at No. 7 thanks to a boost from the film “Michael” hitting theaters, followed by Olivia Dean’s “The Art of Loving” at No. 8. Wallen’s “One Thing at a Time” and Kahan’s “Stick Season” round out the top 10 at Nos. 9 and 10, respectively.
