The Jonas Brothers are getting their own podcast.
Pop band members Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas on Wednesday will launch Hey Jonas!, an audio series partnership with iHeartPodcasts as part of a new slate of programming. The video podcast series features the Jonas brothers relaxed with microphones in hand as they go behind the scenes on their lives and careers. Future episodes will feature appearances by family members and friends, and fans will be able to call into the podcast with questions.
“Known for their chart-topping hits and devoted fanbase, the brothers’ new podcast will give fans an inside look at the chaos, laughs and real-life moments of brotherhood through candid, unfiltered conversations about family, touring, personal moments fans rarely see and everything in between,” a synopsis from the podcast producers states.
The Hey Jonas! podcast follows the Jonas brothers signing their first record deal in 2007, the same year they made their TV debut on Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana. The brothers’ film debut followed in 2008 with the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock, and their own TV show on Disney Channel, titled Jonas, also debuted.
The move into podcasting with Hey Jonas! is the latest entertainment industry iteration for the trio, which includes Nick Jonas having starred in the Broadway production The Last Five Years, alongside Adrienne Warren, while Joe Jonas released a solo album Music For People Who Believe In Love.
Hey Jonas! as a pop culture focused series is executive produced by Amy Sugarman and Danielle Romo for iHeartPodcasts.
