Jack Quaid to Voice Gravitator in ‘Invincible’ Animated Series

The Boys star Jack Quaid has joined the cast of Invincible, the animated superhero spoof series from The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman.

Quaid will play Gravitator/Chris, a gifted engineer who uses his skills for thievery before an encounter with superhero Invincible turns him around.

Kirkman revealed that Quaid will appear in the upcoming season 5 of the series on Amazon Prime Video. Speaking at Prime Video’s Annecy showcase on Wednesday, Kirkman screened a clip of the Gravitator character for the audience.

Steven Yeun voices Invincible A.K.A. Mark Grayson, in the show, with Sandra Oh and J. K. Simmons as his parents Debbie and Nolan.

Kirkman announced that Invincible, produced by Skybound Animation, has been renewed for a sixth season, marking it as the longest animated series to date for Prime Video. Season 4 was the most-watched of the series to date.

The Prime Video showcase also included sneak peeks at series The Legend of Vox Machina and The Mighty Nein; clips from season 3 of Vivienne Medrano’s Helluva Boss; and the official trailer from season 2 of Batman: Caped Crusader. Amazon announced that all 10 episodes of Caped Crusader S2 will drop on the platform October 14.

The panel also featured some of Prime Video’s animated titles in development, including Conan the Barbarian, with executive producer and showrunner Genndy Tartakovsky (Primal, Samurai Jack), via video link, giving the audience an early look into the new series from Cartoon Network Studios.
