Broadway‘s biggest night is approaching.
Tony nominee Uzo Aduba and Tony-winning actor Darren Criss will unveil the nominations for the 2026 Tony Awards on Tuesday morning. After select categories are revealed on CBS Mornings at 5:30 a.m. PT/8:30 a.m. ET, the complete nominations announcement will stream live on the Tony Awards YouTube channel at 6 a.m. PT/9 a.m. ET.
Criss currently stars in Maybe Happy Ending as a robot named Oliver. The role earned him his first Tony Award win for best actor in a musical. He also received another win for best musical as a co-producer. His additional Broadway credits include How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Hedwig and the Angry Inch and American Buffalo. The actor first ascended into the spotlight by starring in Ryan Murphy’s musical-comedy series Glee, as well as Murphy’s The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story and Hollywood.
As for Aduba, her Broadway credits include Coram Boy, Godspell and Clyde’s, the latter of which earned her a Tony nomination in 2022. Aduba landed an Emmy nomination last year for her role in Netflix’s The Residence. She has also appeared in Roofman, Painkiller and Greedy People.
The 2026 Tony Awards will take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 7. Pink is set to host the ceremony. The ceremony will be broadcast on CBS and stream on Paramount+ from 5 p.m. PT to 8 p.m. PT.
Tony Awards are produced in collaboration with Tony Award Productions, a combination of the American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League. Producers include Raj Kapoor, Sarah Levine Hall and Jack Sussman. Kapoor and Levine Hall are also co-showrunners, while Patrick Menton and Rob Paine will co-executive produce. In addition, Menton serves as head of talent.
