The excitement began inside Inter Miami’s locker room, where Beckham was waiting to welcome his young admirer. In a video shared by Huddy’s mother on Instagram, the five-year-old approaches the football icon before exchanging a high-five and a warm hug.

Although Huddy appeared a little shy initially, it didn’t take long for him to feel comfortable around his sporting hero.

Beckham then took the youngster by the hand and showed him around the locker room, making sure he enjoyed every moment of his visit.

One particularly special stop was Lionel Messi’s chair, where Huddy had the opportunity to sit in the Argentine superstar’s place. The interaction showed a playful, affectionate side of Beckham, who appeared just as delighted to meet Huddy as the little boy was to meet him.

And the surprises were only getting started.
