Production on “Moving” Season 2 is now underway at Disney+, with leads Ryu Seungryong, Han Hyojoo, Zo Insung and Go Younjung all confirmed to return and Won Gyubin added to the ensemble.
Set in the immediate aftermath of the Jeongwon High School Incident, the new season follows the returning characters as they attempt to resume ordinary life – only for old and new dangers to resurface and put their families at risk. Ryu Seungbum, Kim Dohoon and Shim Dalgi also reprise their Season 1 roles, while Won Gyubin takes on the role of Kim Bongseok.
“Kingdom” director Kim Seonghun helms the season from a screenplay by Kangfull, who created the original webtoon and wrote the first season. Season 2 extends the streaming universe Kangfull launched with “Moving” and later expanded through “Light Shop.”
“With the first season of ‘Moving,’ my goal was to establish a new benchmark for Korean superhero narratives. For the second, I intend to raise that bar even higher, evolving the series into something truly exceptional,” Kangfull said.

“Moving” premiered in August 2023 and became the most viewed Korean original on Disney+ and Hulu that year. The show received a nomination at the 29th Critics’ Choice Awards and collected multiple trophies at Busan International Film Festival’s Asia Content Awards & Global OTT Awards, including Best Creative, Best Visual Effects, Best Writer (Kangfull), Best Lead Actor (Ryu Seungryong), Best Newcomer Actor (Lee Jungha) and Best Newcomer Actress (Go Younjung). It also claimed Best Series and Best Actress in a Series (Han Hyojoo) at the 59th Daejong International Film Award.
