Here is what a man who’s spent six figures turning himself into Britney Spears looked like before going under the knife.
In 2022, Los Angeles-based Brian Ray revealed that he’d spent $120,000 (£90,000) on cosmetic procedures to make him look more like the ‘…Baby One More Time’ singer, telling the Daily Star that he ‘will always strive for a beauty like hers’.
Explaining that he started the transformation as a teenager, after being given $25,000 (£18,000) by his mum to get a set of veneers, and has no plans of ever stopping.
“I’ve been doing this since I was 17, and I am not finished,” he told the outlet.
“I am an ongoing work of art.”
In the decades since Bryan began his quest to emulate Spears, he has undergone two nose jobs, had cheek implants inserted into his face and had eyelid surgery to replicate the singer’s ‘doe-eyed’ look.

He’s also had work done to his lips and facial soft tissue and gets regular fillers and facial hair removal in order to maintain his appearance.
During a 2019 interview with Metro, Bryan admitted to spending around ‘$2000 (£1500) a month’ on skincare products to help with his look.
“It’s well worth it because I’m investing in myself,” he said at the time.

Speaking about the progress he’d made so far, the 39-year-old said: “When I look in the mirror at myself, I am very happy. Am I perfect? No, absolutely not.
“I’m human just like everyone else and I aspire for a certain level of beauty that I draw my inspiration from Britney Spears and that will never change because my admiration for her has only grown over the last two decades.”
When it comes to the end goal of his transformation, Bryan notes that he’ll never look like Spears 100 percent, but instead says that he’s happy with the notion that he’ll simply resemble her.
“I understand my face, my symmetry, my features and what I’ve done is work in collaboration with plastic surgeons to see what characteristics could be altered in a way that is inspired by Britney to resemble that look of hers,” he said.
Bryan’s quest to resemble Spears as closely as possible hasn’t been without its setbacks, as he was previously rejected from Botched in his quest to get further work done on his nose.

Being a superfan of the singer, Bryan has also met Spears numerous times over the years, including a 2006 encounter at a market in Maui.
“Although she was the biggest star in the world that’s not what she put off when she spoke with me and I’ll never forget all that she said to me,” Bryan said of meeting her in a throwback Instagram post.
“She was kind, gentle, down to earth, southern sweet and the most magical person I’d ever seen.”
