We’re spending most of this glorious three-day weekend sifting through all of the Labor Day sales to bring you ultra-low prices on top-rated tech. I feel confident that I’ve isolated the absolute best PC deals from all the leading brands. We’ve got Alienware gaming machines, mini desktops, all-in-ones, and everything else you could want at the summer’s best prices, and I’ll be revising this list all weekend to add more.
HP OmniBook X Flip 2-In-1 Laptop Labor Day Deal
Let’s lead off with a shockingly deep discount on a HP portable that’s got the flexibility to work for just about everyone. In our review of the OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1 laptop, PCMag expert Jorge Jiminez raved over the unit’s lavish 120HZ OLED touchscreen, robust metal chassis and wide range of customization options. This loadout is securely in the midrange productivity bracket, with a solid AMD Ryzen AI 5 processor that acquitted itself very well in testing, with optimizations for Microsoft Copilot on-device artificial intelligence tasks. It’s paired with a Radeon 840M GPU for even more operational efficiency. The keyboard on the 14-inch version that we tested felt a little cramped, so an extra two inches of diagonal space is welcome on this one for a more comfortable feel. Best Buy has it for 48% off, the lowest price we’ve ever recorded for this one.
Dell 2K Touchscreen Laptop Labor Day Deal
For a budget-priced Windows machine, this Dell is an absolute steal. Typically portable PCs under $500 have dire loadouts and murky monitors, but this one is a full 2K IPS touch display with good color and contrast. Under the hood, you’re getting great component value, with a peppy but affordable Intel Core i5 processor running the show and 512 gigabytes of internal storage. I would say that the 8GB of DDR5 RAM is slightly skimpy, but memory prices are absolutely out of control right now so it’s not surprising. Just don’t keep a million browser tabs open and you’ll probably be fine. The keyboard and touchpad are both good-sized and well-built, and port selection is solid but not exceptional. Battery life is also a strong point, with fast charging taking you from zero to 80% full in just an hour.
Microsoft Surface Laptop Labor Day Deal
If battery life is one of your top concerns, this sleek and stylish Microsoft Surface portable excels thanks to its super power-efficient 12-core Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor, which was designed to optimize Copilot on-device AI performance thanks to the integrated Qualcomm Adreno GPU.
We have a comprehensive review of this machine, giving it an “Excellent” rating and declaring it a solid Windows-based competitor to the class-leading MacBook Air thanks to its capable component loadout, attractive PixelSense Flow display with 2304 x 1536 resolution, and solid connectivity, including a pair of USB-C 4 ports for lightning-fast file transfers. It’s $300 off retail at Best Buy right now.
Acer Swift Go 16 Laptop Labor Day Deal
For a dependable productivity laptop with a nice big screen that comes in at under a thousand bucks, the Acer Swift Go 16 is very worth your attention. We gave this model an “Excellent” rating in our review, praising its thin and lightweight design, responsive, colorful touchscreen, and exceptional productivity performance. Component-wise, you’re getting a ton of value for your money, from the Ryzen AI 9 465 processor that easily handles high-powered apps, to the generous 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a full terabyte of internal storage. Connectivity is also a strong point, with Wi-Fi 7 and multiple USB-C ports. This is a tremendously low price for this laptop, so snag it while it’s still in stock.
Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 10 Gaming Laptop Labor Day Deal
For something with a little more horsepower, Lenovo’s delivering a discount of over a thousand dollars on its Legion Pro 5i gaming laptop. We gave this one an Editors’ Choice award in our review, with our expert Charles Jefferies declaring that it “offers compelling value for gamers” thanks to a solid component loadout, including a Blackwell-series RTX 5070 graphics card, tons of system memory, and top-flight connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Although some versions of this laptop ship with an OLED display, this particular offer has an IPS screen, which is not as high-end but still quite good, with 500 nits of brightness and a 240Hz refresh rate. Because it’s a Lenovo, the keyboard and touchpad also both feel spectacular.
Alienware 16 Aurora Gaming Laptop Labor Day Deal
Our last gaming deal is one of the biggest, so congratulations on scrolling this far. Dell is offering $900 off of an entry-level Alienware 16 Aurora laptop, and just from sheer component value you’re getting your money’s worth. While it’s not pushing the envelope in terms of resolution, the RTX 5050 graphics card is more than capable of whip-fast framerates to the crisp 2560×1600 display. We have a review of the similar 16X Aurora, where it took home an “Excellent” rating for its sturdy but compact design, with no thermal shelf for a more modest profile, along with a well-considered port selection. While Alienware machines typically land on the higher end of the price spectrum, this discount cuts it down well into a more competitive bracket.
Asus ROG Strix G16 Gaming Laptop Labor Day Deal
For a gaming portable with a little more juice to squeeze, this is a very nice 28% Labor Day discount on a midrange Asus that brings the heat. We have an extensive review of this model, awarding it an Editors’ Choice nod for its 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate Nebula display, lightning-fast performance both in synthetic benchmarking and real-world testing, and surprisingly long battery life. The RTX 5060 graphics card is one of the best current-gen options for gaming laptops, easily keeping up with the 1200p screen. Visually, it’s a treat as well, with a full-sized RGB backlit gaming keyboard, attractive styling, and plenty of ports. This bundle comes with a wireless gaming mouse and headset.

Dell Slim Desktop Labor Day Deal
Dell has been one of the most trusted names in home and office computing for generations, and right now, Best Buy has a price drop that brings a very capable tower down to under a thousand bucks. The Dell Slim has a relatively small footprint without compromising on performance, featuring a perky 20-core Intel Core Ultra 7 processor that we consider an excellent value for the money, easily capable of handling everyday productivity and entertainment tasks all day long. A full terabyte of internal storage is also a surprise, given how spendy SSDs are these days. The fan setup and cooling system are also quite good, with near-silent operation even under heavy workloads.

MSI Codex Z2 Desktop Labor Day Deal
Gaming desktop deals can come from all over, and we’ve found that Walmart is a surprisingly great spot for midrange towers with some nice components. While the RTX 5060 graphics card isn’t the tippy-top of Nvidia’s new Blackwell line, it’s a great 1080p performer that churns out stable framerates and also boosts on-device AI performance. Coupled with a very competitive AMD Ryzen 5 8400F processor, you’ll squeeze a ton of juice out of this one. The case is also well-constructed, with an attractive tempered glass side panel and mesh front panel highlighting the efficient RGB fans within. We have a review of a similar Codex R2 from 2024, where we gave it an Editors’ Choice award for budget gaming excellence.
Asus ExpertCenter PN54 Mini Desktop Labor Day Deal
Mini desktops have become a popular option in recent years, packing all of the power of a full-size tower into a box about the size of a stack of CDs. While we haven’t had the chance to break down the ExpertCenter PN54, we do have a comprehensive review of its predecessor, the PN52, where we gave it an “Excellent” rating for its potent Ryzen processor, generous and well-placed port selection, and easy access to internal storage slots and bays. This model keeps all of those features and improves on them, with a current-gen Ryzen AI 5 CPU running the show, tool-less case entry for even simpler upgrades, and a new XDNA2 NPU with up to 50 TOPS for on-device generative AI. Amazon has a $200 discount for Labor Day.
HP OmniDesk Desktop Labor Day Deal
HP makes reliable desktop towers for homes and offices, so if you need a solution that’s ready to go out of the box with few surprises, this $470 price drop on the OmniDesk is worth checking out. Although we haven’t done a full teardown of this model yet, we do have a preview from CES where we noted the thoughtful design considerations that went into the unit, including the attractive woodgrain paneling on the front, solid port loadout, and effective cooling in a small footprint. This loadout features a perky AMD Ryzen 7 processor that tested very well across productivity and entertainment apps, with integrated Radeon 780M graphics for more visual appeal. It runs nice and quiet as well.
