Charlie Sheen is heading back to TV, and he’s bringing his dad along for the ride.
Charlie and Martin Sheen will star together in a comedy series called Happy Jack that has scored a green light from AMC Global Media. The multi-camera show is slated to premiere on AMC and AMC+ in 2027, with production starting early next year on the Warner Bros. lot.
“I’ve always heard the moments that truly matter happen when they’re supposed to,” Charlie Sheen said in a statement. “The good folks at AMC have played a huge hand in deciding that moment is now. It’s no secret that it’s been a minute, and I’m thrilled to be going back on television in such a meaningful way in an equally wonderful show. The crew has reassembled — suffice it to say, it’s time to give the people what they want.”
The Sheens will play father and son in Happy Jack. The show centers on Jack (Charlie Sheen), a “bit of a lifelong ne’er-do-well” with two adult daughters whom his dad (Martin Sheen) had a big hand in raising. One of them, Kate, keeps Jack’s company running and Jack functioning, while the other, Sam, is a “wild child” who returns home with a new boyfriend … who is her dad’s age.
Jim Patterson and Matt Ross are writers and co-showrunners on Happy Jack, which comes from AMC Studios. They worked together on Two and a Half Men (though Ross joined the series after Sheen’s 2011 departure) and Netflix’s The Ranch. Patterson and Ross executive produce with Charlie Sheen, Todd Christopher, The Tannenbaum Company’s Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum and Jason Wang, and 20th Television. Eric and Kim Tannenbaum were also EPs of Two and a Half Men.

The show will be AMC’s first multi-camera comedy and one of only a handful of comedies/dramedies it has ever aired. The most recent was Lucky Hank, starring Bob Odenkirk, in 2023.
Martin and Charlie Sheen have appeared together a few times in the past, in the feature films Wall Street and Cadence (which Martin Sheen also directed) and on the mid-2010s FX/syndicated comedy Anger Management. Martin also guest-starred on Two and a Half Men and Spin City when Charlie starred on the two shows.
With Comcast-owned Sky’s $2.1 billion acquisition of ITV currently winding its way through the regulatory process in the U.K., both parties are limited in how much they can say. Yet Sky’s content chief Cecile Frot-Coutaz and ITV CEO Carolyn McCall, both speaking in separate keynote speeches at the Royal Television Society convention in London, managed to say quite a lot about what the deal means for the U.K.

How the deal happened…
Frot-Cotaz and McCall both acknowledged the television landscape has shifted immeasurably over the past decade. McCall said the Sky/ITV acquisition “wouldn’t have gone through” even six years ago, with the Competition and Markets Authority taking a much more bullish approach to consolidation in the past.
“The transaction is very much a response to what’s happened in the marketplace,” Frot-Cotaz said. But she added, Sky are not just acquiring ITV to create a “robust” media company: “we think there’s a lot of opportunity in it as well.”
Five years ago there was 200,000 hours of streaming content available to audiences – that has now more than doubled to 900,000, a figure that doesn’t include YouTube, said the ITV boss. “That’s what we’re up against.”
Content is still king…
Both Frot-Coutaz and McCall said Sky was committed to ITV content, not least because the deal terms include a content supply agreement with ITV Studios.
“One of the most important things to Sky was our content,” McCall said in an attempt to allay fears amongst indie produces that cost savings will result in less money going into content. “There’ll be more content because the sum of the two.”
In her keynote Frot-Coutaz agreed: “The goal ultimately is to maintain the scale of the content offering.”
Investment in tech…
“The competition is ferocious,” McCall said. “It’s not just [being] bigger; it’s also the investment. So you have to invest in technology. You’ve got to continue to invest in AI. You’ve got to continue to invest in efficiency, and most importantly, you’ve got to have to enough money to constantly invest in content, because content is where it’s at. That’s what makes you all your money.”
Frot-Coutaz echoed that. “Content is super important, but you also need the technology that goes with it.”
But technology costs money and for money you need scale. Hence the deal.
Commitment to news…
A key concern around the acquisition is whether Sky will seek to consolidate its newsroom with ITV’s. While ITV’s public service broadcasting commitments — which includes nations, regional and national news — are protected until 2034, there is a large question mark over what will happen after that day.
McCall said that ITN, which makes ITV’s news (it operates under a shared-ownership scheme comprised of four stakeholders, one of which is ITV) is a “strong news organization” so asked “why would you duplicate?”
Frot-Coutaz maintained that Sky has made a “very public commitment to maintain Sky News and to maintain ITN news” but refused to say whether that commitment would extend past 2034, when ITV’s public service broadcast license expires.
Whether that will allay fears remains to be seen. Watch this space.

Before becoming a professional singer, Dalvin worked jobs including delivering groceries, shining shoes, and working as a motoconcho driver. Music, however, had been part of his life since childhood. Dalvin originally expected his Puerto Rico debut might take place in a nightclub. Instead, demand expanded his engagement at the Coca-Cola Music Hall to six concerts on September 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, and 19, 2026. All six ultimately sold out, setting a record at the venue.
Approximately 60% to 70% of the audience was young, according to one of the show’s producers, suggesting Dalvin is reaching listeners who may normally gravitate toward reggaeton and other urban genres rather than traditional bachata.
That crossover appeal may help explain why his rise in Puerto Rico has moved so quickly.
His Coca-Cola Music Hall shows also included appearances by familiar Puerto Rican music names. Farruko and Melina León joined Dalvin during his second performance, while Gisselle, Randy “Nota Loca” and iZaak appeared during the sixth.

Dalvin La Melodía’s Puerto Rico concerts at the Choliseo
The biggest development, however, is back in Puerto Rico.
After the six sold-out Coca-Cola Music Hall concerts, Dalvin announced “La Otra” at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico for January 2027. Demand quickly multiplied the original date into a multi-night run.
As of September 29, Ticketera lists performances on January 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23 and 24, 2027, all at 8 p.m. The ticketing page currently marks January 14, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23 and 24 as sold out, while January 21 is listed with tickets.
That is an extraordinary jump for an artist whose first major Puerto Rico concert run happened only months earlier.

The committee said Monday that it has since received nearly 1,000 documents and five briefings from representatives of Polymarket and Kalshi as it continues examining whether prediction markets have adequate safeguards against traders using sensitive information.
The latest letters extend that scrutiny beyond dedicated prediction market platforms.
For Hyperliquid, lawmakers specifically pointed to a large leveraged crypto short opened before President Donald Trump announced new China tariffs in October 2025. Public blockchain data showed a trader opened roughly $1.1 billion in leveraged Bitcoin and Ether shorts about 30 hours before the announcement and later closed the positions for more than $150 million in profit.
The committee cited the timing as one transaction it wants Hyperliquid to address; it has not established that the trader possessed nonpublic government information.
Comer is asking Hyperliquid for records describing its identity verification procedures, geographic controls and systems for flagging anomalous trades. The committee also wants information on suspicious trading tied to Federal Reserve decisions, elections and geopolitical events.
Crypto.com received a similar request covering its international platform and Crypto.com Derivatives North America. Lawmakers are seeking records on KYC procedures, suspicious activity referrals and internal restrictions designed to prevent employees with confidential information from trading related event contracts.
The committee also sent a request involving PredictIt and Aristotle-related entities, seeking details on identity verification, suspicious trading controls and political event contracts. PredictIt operates political prediction markets under a separate CFTC no-action framework. Aristotle’s exchange entities were acquired by Underdog earlier this year.
The broader inquiry follows several cases that have intensified concerns about the use of privileged information on prediction markets.
In April, federal prosecutors charged U.S. Army Master Sergeant Gannon Ken Van Dyke with allegedly using classified information about the military operation that led to Nicolás Maduro’s removal from power to make roughly $400,000 in prediction market profits on Polymarket. The charges remain allegations, and the case has not resulted in a conviction.
A month later, prosecutors separately charged a Google engineer with allegedly using confidential company data to make about $1.2 million through Polymarket wagers. Polymarket cooperated with authorities in that investigation.
Prediction markets have also been drawing greater scrutiny as they expand into politics, sports, equities and other financial events. The CFTC regulates federally registered event-contract venues, while lawmakers, state regulators and the SEC continue debating where parts of the rapidly growing sector fit within existing financial and gambling rules.

Cruz Beckham Is Building His Own Music Career
The studio appearance also highlights an interesting role reversal within the Beckham family. Victoria was once the internationally famous musician. Now Cruz is the Beckham actively establishing himself as a recording artist.

Chainlink provides blockchain infrastructure and data services, while SWIFT is a global financial messaging network.
The solution uses the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) to connect banks to SWIFT’s ledger and manage smart-contract workflows. Banks will keep control of the keys used to approve transactions, while CRE will coordinate operations between their own ledgers and the SWIFT ledger.
This setup is designed to support 24/7 payment workflows using tokenized bank deposits. The deposits remain on bank-owned ledgers, while SWIFT’s ledger coordinates the movement of funds between participating institutions, including outside normal banking hours.
Shevchenko framed the blocked figure against the service’s ordinary business. $NEAR routinely processes more than $100 million in daily volume, he noted, and the refusals were a negligible fraction of it. The screening did not cost the business its flow.
Cross-chain infrastructure has long been treated as structurally unable to stop stolen funds, with no operator to call and no account to freeze. The Bitget flows show the constraint is a choice. A service that takes custody mid-swap, even briefly, can screen at that moment, and whether it does is a business decision rather than a technical limit.
Permissionless, with boundaries
$NEAR markets itself as permissionless, open and uncensorable, and a service that can freeze funds halfway through a swap is doing something most people would call permissioned. Vini Barbosa, a technical writer building at Ramp Labs, wrote on X that permissionless has to mean neutral, and that a rail willing to restrict suspected unlawful users will also restrict people moving money under repressive governments.
Cofounder Illia Polosukhin answered in narrower terms: permissionless means nobody needs permission to own assets, transfer them or deploy contracts. Shevchenko’s phrasing concedes the gap between the two positions. The service will remain “permissionless infrastructure, but with boundaries.”
Institutional users, the buyers every infrastructure provider is now chasing, generally prefer a rail that screens. THORChain argued the other position in public. “A halt is not a selective freeze of specific funds or an individual swap,” the protocol wrote on X. “THORChain is permissionless and doesn’t censor by design.” It asked what responsibility Bitcoin, Ethereum and BNB Chain bear when stolen funds move across them, and noted that the addresses that took $10.7 million from its own vaults in May were never blacklisted either. The answer was the same after the $1.5 billion Bybit theft last year.
While champions of decentralization support the decision, key names from the broader industry has pushed back. Bitget CEO Gracy Chen, whose request THORChain declined, wrote that decentralization “is a design principle, not a shield for facilitating known stolen funds.” OKX founder Star Xu disputed the Bitcoin comparison from the other direction: THORChain’s validators jointly control the assets in its vaults, which makes the network an intermediary rather than a base layer, and the same node operators halted it for 39 days in May when its own vaults were at stake.
At a third layer sit the stablecoin issuers. Circle and Tether froze about $320,000 in USDC and USDT linked to the Bitget breach, a rounding error against the total loss but a reminder that issuer-level freezing remains the most reliable circuit breaker in crypto, because it operates on the asset rather than the application.
The frozen $503,000 has no owner of record
$NEAR is holding the intercepted $503,000 pending a legal and recovery process, and has waived any recovery bounty Bitget offered. Formal requests route through a Kodex law-enforcement portal, the channel where Bitget or investigators would formally claim the funds. Shevchenko’s report does not name who can authorize a release, and it describes no process for a wrongly flagged user to get money back. The screening that produced the freeze operates on estimates with a stated error margin of 10%.
A screen that halts a legitimate transfer, with no published release authority and no remedy, is a service holding someone’s money on suspicion. The securities and payments industries resolved that problem with defined processes, because holding funds without one is a liability in almost every jurisdiction. Crypto’s screening layer has reached the same point without the process.
The first dispute over the $503,000 will test whether the release of those funds follows a rule anyone can see.

It’s unclear precisely where the rumor originated, but we found no evidence that Japan made any such announcement banning Israeli tourists. As of this writing, Japan-Israel relations remain mutually positive — the announcement pages for neither the Japanese embassy in Israel (archived) nor the Israeli embassy in Japan (archived) contained any indication that tourism was blocked.

Japan’s list of countries whose citizens do not need visas for short-stay visits included Israel, as of this writing (archived).
The rumor may have spread in part due to September 2026 protests against Israel by Japanese demonstrators. According to Arab News Japan, one of the groups that organized the protest, Network Against Japan Arms Trade, called for the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and called on the Japanese government to close the embassy. “The Israeli ambassador to Japan has changed, and a new ambassador has taken up the post, so we came here today [Sept. 8] to make our voice heard that we wanted our government to expel him,” the group reportedly said at the protest.
In sum, there was no evidence Japan officially banned Israeli tourists from entering the country. The rumor’s origins are murky. As of this writing, both nations’ embassies indicate mutually-positive relations and Japan’s list of countries it does not require short-term tourists to get a visa includes Israel.

In September 2026, King Charles III of England and Queen Camilla announced they would divorce after the discovery of a “secret dossier” that revealed she planned to ruin the legacy of the royal family.

In September 2026, numerous YouTube videos claimed King Charles III and Queen Camilla were divorcing after he discovered a “secret dossier” that revealed she planned to ruin the reputation of the British royal family.
For example, one YouTube channel named Vintage Expose posted multiple videos featuring the assertion. One of the post’s captions began, “The Midnight Separation: King Charles Ends 20-Year Marriage After Camilla’s Secret Dossier Exposed.”
At least one Snopes reader contacted us to ask whether the rumor is true.
While one video’s description claimed it was “based on verified palace insider accounts, intelligence briefings, constitutional dockets, and confidential testimonies,” Snopes found no evidence the reporting was accurate or authentic. The videos were also generated using artificial intelligence tools.
Therefore, we’ve rated the claim false.
We first used DuckDuckGo, Google and Yahoo to search for phrases like “King Charles Queen Camilla Divorce” to uncover any actual reporting on the claim.
The members of the British royal family are some of the most scrutinized individuals in the world and the British press covers them constantly. If the events described had actually occurred, journalists with reputable news outlets like the BBC would have documented them. That was not the case.
Claims that King Charles and Queen Camilla have divorced or are no longer living together pop up frequently. Search results found several unreliable sources making the claim.
But it was not possible to locate any examples of credible outlets reporting on the alleged divorce, nor to find a news update on the official royal household website. The website features a page for Camilla, as of this writing, and the BBC reported that she joined Charles to watch the Highland Games in Scotland in early September.
Snopes contacted Buckingham Palace for comment on the rumor but had not heard back at the time of publication. We also attempted to contact the Vintage Expose YouTube channel that spread the claim but were unable to get in touch.
There are similarities between this rumor and a claim Snopes fact-checked in August 2025 that suggested Camilla had been caught stealing royal jewelry and cheating, for which she was allegedly thrown out of Buckingham Palace. That claim, like this one, spread through AI-generated videos on YouTube.
There are three main pieces of evidence we used to conclude the YouTube videos were AI-generated.
First, Vintage Expose posts 20-minute videos three or four times every day, all making allegations of scandal within the royal family. That prolific output is unlikely to be the work of a human but very doable for AI.
Second, the videos contain language more typical of fiction writing than journalistic reporting. That tonal difference is commonplace in AI-generated content.
Finally, the particular synthetic text-to-speech model in many of the videos spreading the claim has been around for a while and is relatively common. It is the same one used in TikTok comedian @offlainnn’s series of “Scariest Stories” videos. It uses several unusual inflections and has a slight background “hiss” associated with older AI models.
