NFL Draft Stars Reveal Their Favorite Football Movies and Binge Watches: ‘The Blind Side,’ ‘Love Island’ and More

When the NFL‘s 2026 draft stars aren’t practicing for the upcoming season, they can be found watching reality shows like “Love Island,” thrillers like “The Night Agent” or “Breaking Bad” and even animated hits like “Zootopia 2.”

Variety chatted with several of the top picks from Round One of Pittsburgh’s NFL draft to find out their favorite sports movies and what they watch in the offseason. Unsurprisingly, many of the athletes named classic football movies like “Remember the Titans” and “The Blind Side” as their favorite films.

“‘The Blind Side,’ that’s my favorite movie of all time,” said New Orleans Saints wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, who was drafted No. 8 on Thursday. “I could go word for word with Sandra Bullock on there.” Several others chose the 2009 biographical drama, starring Sandra Bullock as the adoptive mother of a teen who turns his life around and enters the NFL. The film, based on the life story of NFL player Michael Oher, received an Oscar nomination for best picture and a lead actress win for Bullock.

“‘The Blind Side,’ ‘Remember the Titans,’ ‘The Sandlot,’ I’ve seen them hundreds of times each, at least,” said Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor, the No. 12 pick. The Kansas City Chiefs’ sixth overall selection, linebacker Mansoor Delane, said the last movie he saw in theaters was Disney’s “Zootopia 2.”

As for TV, a few of the players finished binging shows in the days leading up to the NFL draft. The Dallas Cowboys’ No. 11 pick, safety Caleb Downs, crossed a few shows off his list before being selected.

“Yesterday I finished ‘Night Agent.’ I finished ‘Breaking Bad’ a couple weeks ago, I finished ‘Paradise’ too,” he said. “I need to watch ‘El Camino’ and ‘Better Call Saul.’” Safety Dillon Thieneman, the Chicago Bears’ No. 25 pick, said he just finished the “Invincible” Season 4 finale and has been watching the new season of “The Boys” as well.

The biggest surprise may have been how many players named dating shows like “Love Island” and “Temptation Island” as their go-to binge watches.

“I watch all the love reality shows,” said wide receiver Carnell Tate, the No. 4 pick for the Tennessee Titans. “‘Love Island,’ ‘Temptation Island,’ ‘Love Is Blind,’ ‘Traitors.’” Of the latter, if he could be on the Peacock reality show, he added “I’d be a traitor and make it far.”

Bravo Says ‘Summer House’ Leak Was Done by an ‘Individual Involved in the Production of the Reunion’; Adds There Was ‘No Evidence’ Cast Members Were Involved

UPDATE: This article was updated on April 26 to include Bravo‘s statement about the “Summer House” audio leak.

Bravo has released a statement with the findings of its investigation into the leaked audio from the most recent “Summer House” reunion.

The statement read, “An investigation into the recent leak of the Summer House reunion audio has concluded that the audio was an unauthorized recording and distributed by an individual involved in the production of the reunion. As a result of the findings, appropriate action has been taken. There is no evidence that any member of the cast was involved in the recording of the audio.”

It continued, “We take these matters seriously and will continue to take appropriate measures to respond to the unauthorized distribution of our content. We are aware that there is additional improperly obtained audio circulating and we caution all parties and platforms to refrain from posting, sharing, or amplifying any unauthorized audio.”

A rep for the network says the person who facilitated the leak was fired.

The shooting of the most recent “Summer House” reunion has been rocked by leaked audio spoilers from the cast talking about the controversial relationship between stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson. Now Bravo has released a statement revealing that the network is looking into the leak.

“The ‘Summer House Reunion’ audio leak represents a serious breach of trust and a clear lack of respect for the cast, crew, and the integrity of the production process,” the statement that was posted to X on Friday morning reads. “We take this matter very seriously and have launched a full investigation and we will take appropriate action based on our findings.”

Additionally, Bravo mainstay and reunion host Andy Cohen responded to a fan on Threads on Friday morning, who warned him, “Andy Stay offline please you won’t like the news.”

“I don’t,” he responded. “On my way to eye surgery and just reading about it. People laid their souls out emotionally for ten hours yesterday and its disgusting and illegal for someone to leak or distribute this. It’s disrespectful to the work and tears the cast put in yesterday. Let the season play out. You will see it all in due time.”

The reunion was shot on April 23, and much of the discussion was centered around the newly confirmed relationship between Batula and Wilson. Previously, Batula was married to Wilson’s friend, Kyle Cooke, and Wilson had a on-and-off relationship with Batula’s best friend, Ciara Miller. All of the cast members have spent multiple seasons together on the Bravo reality show.

UFC Boss Dana White Says the White House Correspondents’ Dinner Shooting Was ‘F—ing Awesome’: ‘I Literally Took Every Minute of it In’

UFC president and CEO Dana White recently told USA Today that he thought experiencing Saturday night’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting in person was “fucking awesome.”

“All of a sudden, it just started getting noisy. Tables started getting flipped over, guys running in with guns, and they were screaming, ‘Get down!’” White, who was in attendance at the dinner, recalled. “I didn’t get down. It was fucking awesome, and I literally took every minute of it in. It was a pretty crazy, unique experience.”

White said he was sitting “right in front of where the president was” when the Secret Service rushed in. He added, “Nobody got tackled, but guys came in looking for the shooter. And they came toward our table. I thought the shooter was over by us or something.”

The 2026 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, which took place in the ballroom of the Washington Hilton Hotel, was forced to wrap early after gunshots were heard from outside the event. President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump and administration officials were quickly evacuated from the event as the shooter was tackled by law enforcement on a different floor of the venue.

Trump held a press conference on Saturday in the aftermath of the shooting, during which he promised to reschedule the WHCD within 30 days.

“We’re going to do it again,” Trump said. “We’re not going to let anybody take over our society. We’re not going to cancel things out, because we can’t do that.”

On Sunday morning, White House Correspondents’ Association president and CBS News senior White House correspondent, Weijia Jiang, released a statement to social media. She wrote, “I know many of you are still processing what happened last night. Thank you to the USSS and all the law enforcement agencies who kept us safe. We are so grateful. To the members of the WHCA, we will get through this together…. We express our deepest gratitude to the U.S. Secret Service and all law enforcement personnel who ensured the safety of everyone in the ballroom and beyond. Their actions protected thousands of guests, and we wish a full and speedy recovery to the officer who was injured in the line of duty. We are grateful everyone in attendance was unharmed, including the President, the First Lady, and the Vice President.”

Trump is set to appear on “60 Minutes” on Sunday night for an interview with CBS News’ Norah O’Donnell about the shooting.

  • Bravo Wraps Leaked ‘Summer House’ Reunion Audio Investigation, Finds Production Staffer Released “Unauthorized Recording”

Bravo has wrapped their investigation into an audio recording that was leaked from the set of the highly anticipated season 10 reunion of Summer House, concluding that someone involved in the production released the unauthorized recording.

“An investigation into the recent leak of the Summer House reunion audio has concluded that the audio was an unauthorized recording and distributed by an individual involved in the production of the reunion.  As a result of the findings, appropriate action has been taken,” a Bravo spokesperson shared in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “There is no evidence that any member of the cast was involved in the recording of the audio.”

The statement continued, “We take these matters seriously and will continue to take appropriate measures to respond to the unauthorized distribution of our content. We are aware that there is additional improperly obtained audio circulating and we caution all parties and platforms to refrain from posting, sharing, or amplifying any unauthorized audio.”

On Thursday night, after the special series of episodes where Ciara Miller crossed paths with Amanda Batula and West Wilson for the first time on camera since news of their relationship was confirmed, audio of the cast discussing the scandal leaked online. When reached by Bravo for comment, a spokesperson confirmed with The Hollywood Reporter on Friday morning that they had launched a “full investigation” to look into the matter.

“This represents a serious breach of trust and a clear lack of respect for the cast, crew and the integrity of the production process,” a Bravo spokesperson said. “We take this matter very seriously and have launched a full investigation and we will take appropriate action based on our findings.”

Bravo’s reunions are a very closed set, usually comprised of only the cast, production and glam, though the latter are not on the live set or in a distance to hear audio. Companies are able to analyze fairly quickly to know where this leak is coming from.

After the audio was leaked, speculation began online that it could have come from a castmember, which, if true, would be a major breach of contract and could lead to serious consequences, including being fired.

Andy Cohen, who hosts all of Bravo’s reunion, addressed the leak on Instagram Friday, writing, “People laid their souls out emotionally for ten hours yesterday and it’s disgusting and illegal for someone to leak or distribute this. It’s disrespectful to the work and tears the cast put in yesterday. Let the season play out. You will see it all in due time.”

The scandal involving Miller, Batula and Wilson has been a hot topic online in the past few months, stemming from the fact that Miller used to date Wilson, and was also dear friends with Batula. The controversy has been compared to that of Vanderpump Rules‘ Scandoval, though THR confirmed that while the latter series altered its reunion format to dive deeper into the mess, the Summer House reunion would not do the same.

Season 10 of the Lisa Vanderpump-led series went up in flames when Tom Sandoval had an affair with Rachel Leviss, his Vanderpump co-star and friend to his longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix. At the reunion for the reality series, Cohen sat down with all three parties involved separately to gather their side of the story; Miller, Batula and Wilson did not film solo interviews with Cohen during the taping of their season 10 reunion.

After a month of rumors, Summer House stars Batula and Wilson confirmed their newfound relationship on March 31, rocking the Bravosphere.

Wilson joined the cast of Bravo’s Summer House in season eight, which began airing in 2024. During that installment (which was shot in 2023), Wilson met the cast and began his romance with Miller, whom he dated through the end of the year. At the season eight reunion of the reality series, they announced they were no longer together, and Miller revealed that Wilson said he could not commit to a serious relationship with her “for show-related reasons.”

Wilson and Miller were on rocky terms throughout the ninth season of Summer House. Season 10 premiered in February and is currently airing, where the two have gotten close and rehashed aspects of their former romance. (In episode seven, Miller admitted that “it’s very clear that we both miss each other,” and noted that “we’re in a weird state of like, limbo, and so it’s all just coming out so disorganized and a bit crazy.”)

On season 10 of Summer House, Miller was an avid supporter of Batula amid her rocky marriage with Cooke, whom she is now separated from. In a recent interview with Marie Claire, Batula showed gratitude toward Miller for being there amid turbulence in her marriage — also shouting out Wilson in the same breath.

  • Forced Windows updates can now be paused forever

No more getting caught by a forced Windows 11 update while you’re in the middle of a meeting or a match. Microsoft announced some major changes coming to Windows Update on its blog, including the ability to indefinitely pause Windows updates, 35 days at a time.

To give users more control, Windows Update introduced the option to extend update pauses as much as users want. Once you opted to pause updates for Windows 11, you won’t be disturbed for 35 days at a time, but you can now reset this 35-day limit for as long as you want. You should eventually install these updates, as most of them are usually related to security upgrades and only sometimes require emergency fixes, but Microsoft is letting users decide when to do so. Microsoft’s Aria Hanson wrote in the blog that these changes were a result of feedback that consistently mentioned “disruption caused by untimely updates and not enough control over when updates happen.”

Beyond the update pauses, Microsoft is ensuring Windows 11 users always have the option to shut down or restart their devices without updating. These quality-of-life upgrades build on another recent change that allowed users to skip updates while setting up their new Windows devices. According to Microsoft, the latest Windows Updates features are currently rolling out to those enrolled in the Windows Insider program, specifically users in the Dev and Experimental Channels.

  • THORChain is being flagged as a key route for hackers to move stolen funds

THORChain is being flagged as a key route for hackers to move stolen funds

Meet the chain where hackers cash out; that’s how analysts are summing up THORChain. Fresh data again tied the protocol has dropped the debate into the light. In a post, the analyst pointed out that multiple high-profile exploits have routed funds through THORChain. Amid all the funds flowing out, the protocol continued to generate fees.

The list of exploited funds being driven out from THORChain includes the FTX exploiter ($124 million), Bybit hacker ($1.2 billion+), and Balancer exploiter ($120 million). It also holds the name of the recent KelpDAO attack ($175 million in just 36 hours).

    THORChain bags millions in fees

Data shows that THORChain reportedly generated around $910,000 in fees just from the KelpDAO incident. This exceeded its previous month’s total of $709,000. Meanwhile, the protocol has maintained a stance of neutrality, even as hundreds of millions in illicit funds pass through its rails.

According to data from Arkham Intelligence, the attacker split the stolen funds across three wallets. They were holding around 25,000 $ETH (approx $57–59 million each). Only one of those wallets has actively begun laundering. Its balance dropped from 25,000 $ETH to around 3,800 $ETH.

A good portion of those funds has already been bridged into Bitcoin using THORChain. On-chain data shows that nearly 99% of the funds in that wallet have moved. This adds to a surge in protocol usage. Swap volume on THORChain reportedly hit $540 million in 24 hours. It helped the protocol generate about $660,000 in fees during that period.

Lookonchain reported that the KelpDAO hacker had swapped all 75,701 $ETH (approx worth $175 million) through THORChain. Mantle has proposed providing 30,000 $ETH (approx worth $70 million) to Aave as a loan. While Lido announces a one-time donation of 2,500 stETH (approx worth $5.8 million)

The approach from attackers looks pretty straightforward. THORChain allows cross-chain swaps without intermediaries or know-your-customer checks. This allows stolen assets to move quickly between ecosystems. It often happens from Ethereum to Bitcoin. This is where tracing becomes more fragmented due to the UTXO model. Ether price has dropped by almost 3% over the last 24 hours. $ETH is trading at $2,310 at the press time.

The laundering activity picked up pace after intervention from the Arbitrum Security Council. It froze 30,766 $ETH (approx $71 million) linked to the exploit. This move managed to restrict access to a portion of the funds, which required governance votes for any recovery.

    THORChain defends neutrality

The freeze may have also pushed the attacker’s strategy. The exploiter began moving funds more aggressively soon after it. This highlights an ongoing tension in DeFi between intervention and decentralization. Protocol-level actions can limit damage, but they may also push attackers toward faster and more complex laundering routes.

This pattern is not new, as attackers often allow wallets to remain dormant for months before reactivating them. The delay in moving funds allows it to outlast initial tracking efforts from investigators

THORChain, in a post, stated that it was modeled after Bitcoin. This lets it be permissionless and censorship-resistant. It mentioned that there’s no single person or entity in control of the protocol, and there’s no admin key. It added that there’s no 2-of-3 multisig and there are 95 nodes spread globally that control the network.

The protocol stated that Bitcoin is neutral because the code is neutral, and the nodes enforce it. Similarly, THORChain is neutral because the code is neutral, and the nodes enforce it.

The protocol has been in headlines due to its large-scale exploits and fund links. This dates back to the February 2025 hack of Bybit. Attackers linked to the Lazarus Group stole roughly $1.5 billion in assets. This includes over 400,000 $ETH. A major portion of those funds was laundered through THORChain.

It is estimated that over 70% of the stolen assets flowed through the protocol. It led the protocol’s daily volumes to exceed $700 million at that time. The massive laundering activity generated over $3 million to $5.5 million in transaction fees for the protocol. The attackers were identified as the North Korean Lazarus Group by the FBI.

Kia Defensive Player of the Year Victor Wembanyama has not been in the Spurs’ lineup since Game 2 of the series.

San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama is available to play Sunday in Game 4 of the team’s first-round playoff series against the Portland Trail Blazers after clearing the NBA’s concussion protocol.

Wembanyama, the league’s first unanimous Kia Defensive Player of the Year, missed Game 3 on Friday in Portland while going through the league’s concussion protocol. The Spurs won 120-108 to go up 2-1 in the series.

Per ESPN’s Shams Charania and Malika Andrews, Wembanyama will play in Game 4 after he received clearance to do so from the Spurs’ medical staff and the NBA.

Wembanyama sustained the concussion in the first half of Tuesday’s 106-103 loss to the Blazers.

He traveled to Portland while continuing to complete the steps mandated by the league’s concussion protocol and had been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.

Luke Kornet got the Game 2 start against the Trail Blazers in Wembanyama’s absence, finishing with 14 points and 10 rebounds. San Antonio was boosted by Stephon Castle with 33 points and rookie Dylan Harper, who had 27 points and 10 rebounds.

Players must clear a series of benchmarks before they are allowed to play under the concussion protocol. The results are compared to baseline neurological evaluations players take at the start of the season.

San Antonio finished with the league’s second-best record behind the versatile 7-foot-4 center from France. It went 12-6 in the regular season without him.

Wembanyama averaged 25 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists and a league-best 3.1 blocks per game this season.
