Amazon Prime and Uber Eats have announced a new partnership that lets you order food for delivery from nearby restaurants.
The new deal starts today across the US for anyone with a Prime membership. You can browse Uber Eats restaurants on the Amazon website or in its mobile app and place orders without leaving the service.
Deliveries are free if you spend over $25 at a restaurant, a major perk for those who have a Prime membership. In some scenarios, this may even beat an Uber One subscription, which often includes free delivery, but the required minimum spend varies depending on several factors.
If you order food deliveries through this service, you won’t need to set up an Uber Eats account, since everything happens through your Amazon login. Delivery updates are sent by Amazon via email and push notifications, and a final Uber Eats order confirmation is sent via email.
The partnership kicks off with an additional discount: $20 off each of your first two orders if you spend over $25 per delivery. You’ll need to place any orders within the next 14 days, meaning the discount is available through Nov. 18.
To try out the offer, head to Amazon and type “Uber Eats” in the search bar. At the top of the results, you’ll see a banner with the logo, and you’ll be asked to grant Uber access to your Amazon profile. The embedded service looks and works similarly to Uber Eats.

However, you may not find all your local restaurants through this version, with Amazon’s press release saying to expect a “selection similar to what is available on the Uber Eats app.” Neither service has clarified why a restaurant would be available on one service and not the other.
This marks the end of GrubHub’s partnership with Amazon, which has been active since 2022. The option meant you could access GrubHub+ for free with a Prime membership, but the benefit ended on Nov. 5 for all members.
