Carmen Electra on Returning to ‘Scary Movie 6’ and Working With [SPOILER]: ‘She Has a Six-Pack Going On and Is Hilarious in the Movie’

SPOILER ALERT: This story contains details about “Scary Movie 6,” now in theaters.

Carmen Electra is back for more “Scary Movie.”

The actress returns to the franchise’s sixth installment after appearing in the first film’s now iconic opening scene that spoofed Drew Barrymore in the original “Scream.” Electra later appeared in “Scary Movie 4,” one of the three films that Marlon and Shawn Wayans were not involved with after Harvey and Bob Weinstein pushed them out of the franchise in 2001.

“I’m so excited that it’s out there now,” Electra told me during a phone interview ahead of the “Scary Movie 6” premiere on Wednesday night in Hollywood. “It’s been hard. Obviously you’re gonna call a couple of your closest friends, right? But I’m like, ‘You can’t tell anyone. I don’t want to get in trouble.’”

Electra appears in the opening scene of the latest movie with Teyana Taylor. “I play a bartender serving her drinks,” the former “Baywatch” star says. “I fart [like she did in the first film] because everyone loves a good fart joke. It was really fun.”

Electra says she “was blown away” by Taylor.

“Her body, by the way, it’s crazy. It’s crazy ridiculous,” Electra says. “She walked in and her stomach was showing in the scene and she was just tight. God forbid I was sitting with my stomach out. She has a six-pack going on and is hilarious in the movie. I mean, she’s just going off.”

“Scary Movie 6” marks the Wayans family return to the franchise. “I need to come back for the next movie because I wasn’t killed in this one,” Electra says.

Funny enough, Electra says she heard when they were originally casting “Scary Movie 6,” they were looking for a “Carmen Electra-type.” “Then they were like, ‘Why don’t we just try to get her,’” she says. “It all happened so quickly. I was on a trip and got home but got right back on a plane and flew to Atlanta to shoot.”

I ask Electra to name her favorite memory of filming the first movie. “There were a lot of surprises, like the Prince part,” she says about a gag that featured a Prince lookalike and reference to the two dating in the early 1990s. “I remember thinking, he’s going to be so mad at me for this. But Prince actually thought it was really funny.”

Also on Electra’s throwback calendar is posing for Playboy after first stripping down for the men’s magazine in 1996. She’ll appear in the July issue – clothed, but in sexy leather and lace – answering reader questions about sex and dating.

And then there’s the “Baywatch” reboot. “I would love to go back to ‘Baywatch,’ Electra says. “I think it would be really fun. [Returning star] David Chokachi was my love interest, so I could see coming back for a few episodes. I think that would be really cool.”
