Midway through its final season, The Boys returned to the top of Nielsen’s streaming charts, and a former NBC series jumped into the rankings after being added to Netflix.
The Boys drew 947 million minutes of viewing time for the week of April 27-May 3, up about 7 percent from the previous week. It was the first time the Prime Video series took the No. 1 overall spot since the week of its season four finale in July 2024.
Netflix’s Running Point grew in the week after its season two premiere, growing about 17 percent to 900 million minutes and finishing second overall. Another Netflix show, Man on Fire, had the week’s biggest debut with 805 million minutes of watch time. The Pitt (583 million) continued to hang in the top 10 originals two weeks after its season finale on HBO Max.
On the acquired series ledger, La Brea joined the rankings with 881 million viewing minutes of viewing after joining Netflix’s catalog on May 1. The series, which aired on NBC from 2021-24, also streams on Peacock.
Apex led the movie top 10 for a second straight week with 697 million minutes of viewing, and Netflix’s animated film Swapped finished second with 503 million minutes for its opening weekend. The Devil Wears Prada (328 million on HBO Max and Hulu) grew substantially week to week as its sequel hit theaters.
Nielsen’s streaming ratings cover viewing on TV sets only and don’t include minutes watched on computers or mobile devices. The ratings only measure U.S. audiences. The top streaming titles for April 27-May 3, 2026, are below.
