Annecy Title ‘Dudley and the Invasion of the Space Slugs’ Lands Territory Sales Ahead of Cannes Market Bow (EXCLUSIVE)

Annecy Presents selection “Dudley and the Invasion of the Space Slugs,” the animated family feature from Fabrique d’Images, is at the Cannes Film Market this week with eight territory deals already in place.

All Rights Entertainment, based across Paris, Hong Kong, and Los Angeles, is handling international sales ahead of the film’s planned 2027 release.

Confirmed buyers include Kazoo for the U.K., NOS for Portugal, Vercine for Spain, Young Horizons for Poland, Donart for Czech Republic and Slovakia, Profilm for Bulgaria, Filmhouse for Israel, and Phars Filmco for the MENA region. Negotiations are currently active for Germany, Ex-Yugoslavia, Benelux, North America, Korea, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan.

In France, KMBO will release the film during the 2027 Easter holiday window.

The film follows Dudley, an adolescent frog desperate to break free from the iron grip of his father Arthur, the mayor of frog town. Dudley’s chief ambition is to win the respect of the local streetwise gang, led by a sassy newt named Madge, who considers him little more than a wimp and a daddy’s boy. His shot at proving himself comes when an alien spaceship crashes into the pond and lodges in the mud. The small crew on board, armed with miniaturising technology of extraordinary sophistication, is on a mission to drain Earth’s water supply and sell it across the galaxy for profit.

All Rights Entertainment has also launched presales at the Cannes Film Market for new feature “Ip Man: Kung Fu Legacy,” where Dennis To will reprise his role as the legendary Wing Chun grandmaster in the next installment of the martial arts franchise.
