Grammy nominee is set to perform at amfAR’s Cannes Film Festival Gala.
The 32nd edition of the star-studded fundraiser takes place May 21 at Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc.
“We are thrilled to have Zara Larsson joining us in Cannes this year,” amfAR CEO Kyle Clifford said in a statement Tuesday morning. “She is not only an exciting and talented artist, but she is also a longtime supporter of our mission and we could not be more grateful to have her with us.”
Larsson’s hits include “Lush Life,” “Never Forget You,” “Symphony” and “Stateside.” She earned her first grammy nomination for the title track of her hit 2025 album “Midnight Sun.”
The black-tie gala will also feature a live auction of luxury goods, one-of-a-kind experiences and works of art led by auctioneer Simon de Pury. Carine Roitfeld returns as curator of the evening’s signature fashion show.
Elizabeth Taylor, the HIV/AIDS organization’s founding international chairman, hosted the inaugural Cannes gala in at the Moulin de Mougins, Since then, it has raised more than $314 million in support of amfAR research.
Last year’s event included performances by Adam Lambert, Ciara and Duran Duran. Taraji P. Henson hosted. Leonardo DiCaprio placed the winning bid of $425,000 for a mixed media portrait of Marilyn Monroe by Oscar winner Adrien Brody. Guests also included Spike Lee, Colman Domingo, Cara Delevingne, Jeff Bezos and his then fiancé Lauren Sánchez, Michelle Rodriguez, Evan Ross, Robin Thicke, Mariska Hargitay and Heidi Klum.
