What Storm Trade Does

Storm Trade describes itself as the first decentralized exchange on TON that lets users trade crypto, stocks, forex and commodities with leverage. DefiLlama’s protocol page says it can be used through a web app and through Telegram.

Perpetual futures are contracts with no expiry date. Traders can hold positions for as long as they wish while paying or receiving funding fees that keep contract prices close to spot markets. DefiLlama measures perp volume as the notional value of all trades, which includes leverage. That means the headline figures reflect leveraged trading activity rather than capital deposited by users.

Context and Caveats

The latest surge follows a strong October. Storm Trade reached a 2026 high in daily trading volume of $76.02M during the month, according to the original data supplied for this report.

The jump comes from a low base. DefiLlama’s protocol page showed Storm Trade with 30-day perps volume of $38.79m and total value locked of $4.21m as of Oct 22, 2026. Its TON chain page put the protocol’s TVL at $3.81m on Nov 1, 2026. The weekly percentage gain is therefore large relative to recent activity, and one week of data does not show whether the pace will hold.

Storm Trade’s native token, $STORM, trades at around $0.0027 per DefiLlama. Traders should note that perps volume is a measure of activity, not of protocol revenue or user growth. Sustained volume would need to be matched by deeper liquidity and a growing user base to signal a lasting shift for derivatives trading on TON.
