Ripple (XRP) Has Been Selected as One of the 50 Companies Transforming the Industry in 2026

Ripple was ranked 16th on CNBC’s 2026 “Disruptor 50” list.

CNBC described the company with the headline “New Money,” adding that Ripple is one of the key companies bringing blockchain infrastructure to real-world finance.

CNBC’s annual “Disruptor 50” list ranks rapidly growing private companies that are changing existing business models and creating transformations in sectors such as technology, finance, healthcare, and defense. While artificial intelligence is a prominent theme in the 2026 list, Ripple is one of the notable companies in the cryptocurrency and blockchain field that made the list.

This year, the top spot on the list was taken by the artificial intelligence company Anthropic. CNBC noted that the company overtook its rival OpenAI with its rapidly increasing valuation. OpenAI came in second, while the data and AI infrastructure company Databricks took third place.

According to CNBC’s analysis, 43 of the 50 companies on the 2026 list stated that artificial intelligence plays a critical role in their business models. The total funding for the companies on the list increased from $127 billion last year to $337 billion this year, while their total valuation nearly tripled to $2.4 trillion.
