Plasma Launches Stablecoin Banking App

Plasma, a blockchain company developing infrastructure for stablecoin payments, has announced the launch of Plasma One, a new financial application focused on everyday use of digital dollars.

The app runs on the Plasma Network, the company’s own blockchain designed specifically for stablecoin transactions. At launch, Plasma One includes several features commonly found in digital banking applications. Users can deposit stablecoins directly from crypto wallets or fund accounts with fiat currencies, including U.S. dollars, euros, and British pounds. The platform also supports local payment networks such as SEPA, Faster Payments, and ACH.

The service includes a Visa payment card that can be used in more than 180 countries. Plasma also offers cashback programs, including additional rewards for spending on AI-related services. International transfers are settled through the Plasma Network, while users can also access on-chain yield opportunities for idle balances.
