I hope you’re all enjoying your three-day holiday weekend. I’m taking a second away from enjoying time with friends and family to refresh our listings of the best discounts across the tech universe. Labor Day weekend is the summer’s last hurrah for serious deals on all kinds of products, and I wouldn’t miss these opportunities for the world. HP’s online store is top of my list, with discounts of up to 58% on well-reviewed hardware. Here are the five best deals I found.
HP OmniBook X Flip 2-In-1 Laptop Labor Day Deal
HP is going wild with the discounts on laptops, and a 48% price drop on the versatile OmniBook X Flip is worth celebrating. A 16-inch touchscreen is the big selling point of this convertible laptop, letting you use it as a massive tablet or tent display. The all-metal chassis feels super durable, even if it is a bit heavy. We have an extensive review, where it handled everyday productivity benchmarks with ease. Under the hood, you’ll find a capable Intel Core Ultra 7 processor paired with 16GB of RAM, with on-device Microsoft Copilot AI features working wonderfully. An integrated Intel Arc 140v graphics card boosts its visual appeal as well. Port selection is solid, and the keyboard feels spacious and responsive. Snagging a laptop with this much appeal for $750 is a rare feat these days, so grab one while you can.
For a more budget-minded laptop, the venerable HP 15t is tough to beat. While the component loadout of this lightweight productivity machine won’t win any awards, it’s put together to give you solid functionality at a very nice price. The Intel Core i5 processor is a capable ten-core CPU with decent benchmarking results, and although the RAM and storage are both pretty skimpy, they’ll do the job. Port selection is minimal, but all the important connectors are there, including both USB-A and USB-C. The three-cell battery is capacious enough for lengthy work sessions, and supports Fast Charge to get it from empty to a half a tank in 45 minutes. With silicon costs what they are, a budget laptop that performs well is a rare thing, so give this one a look.

HP HyperX Omen Gaming Laptop Labor Day Deal
HP’s gaming offerings are also on sale for Labor Day, and if you’re in the market for a midrange portable PC, this is a great value at $700 off. We have a comprehensive review of the HyperX Omen 16z, where we noted that it was a solid performer, with a durable-feeling build, comfortable keyboard, and responsive touchpad. The version we took into the lab had an underpowered RTX 5050 GPU, but this one boosts that to a much more capable RTX 5060, which makes a huge difference in how it makes modern games look. Other strong points for this one include battery life, which tested out at over 11 hours on a single charge in our evaluation, and decent port selection and connectivity, including Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4.

HP OmniDesk Desktop PC Labor Day Deal
If you need a no-nonsense desktop tower for everyday productivity, HP is one of the best places to look. Its OmniDesk line of compact desktops delivers reasonable speed at low prices, and snagging a 36% Labor Day price drop makes them some of the best values on the market. This is a budget loadout, but the Intel Core i3 processor is a solid little performer that capably manages Web browsing, spreadsheets, document creation and more without breaking a sweat. The corresponding RAM loadout and storage are both a bit skimpy, but with the cash you save you can easily pop it open for an upgrade. You can read our CES preview for a breakdown of everything you need to know about this machine, but it’s a solid all-rounder at a price that’s tough to beat.

HP Omen 27-Inch FHD Gaming Monitor Labor Day Deal
If you’re on the hunt for the deepest discounts this weekend, you’ll have a hard time topping this outrageous 58% price drop on a very capable HP gaming monitor. This isn’t necessarily the screen to get the most out of a high-octane graphics card, because it peaks at 1080p resolution, but with a speedy 180Hz refresh rate, good color coverage, and 1ms gray-to-gray response time, it’s got the juice for fast-action gaming all day. We have a review of a similar HP Omen monitor, where we noted that it was blazingly fast, easy to set up, and had good color accuracy. We did wish that the stand had a few more adjustment options and the on-device controls were easier to use, but those are minor quibbles for a $115 display.
