Washington Wizards guard Trae Young reportedly has agreed to a four-year, $212 million deal to return to the team, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania and The Athletic’s Josh Robbins.

Trae Young and the Washington Wizards have agreed to a new four-year max contract worth approximately $212 million, a league source said. The fourth year of the deal will be a player option.

The four-time All-Star, who was traded to Washington in January, declined a player option for the 2026-27 season to become a free agent.
Young, the No. 5 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, has career averages of 25.1 points and 9.8 assists after spending seven-plus seasons with the Atlanta Hawks.
