Amazon and Uber Eats have teamed up on a deal that lets Prime members skip the delivery fee, provided they spend at least $25.
The offer is open to US Prime members, who can browse Uber Eats restaurants on the Amazon website or in its mobile app and place orders without leaving the service.
In some scenarios, the $25 minimum with Prime may even beat an Uber One subscription, which often includes free delivery, but the required minimum spend varies.
If you order food deliveries through this service, you won’t need to set up an Uber Eats account, since everything happens through your Amazon login. Delivery updates are sent by Amazon via email and push notifications, and a final Uber Eats order confirmation is sent via email.
The partnership kicks off with an additional discount: $20 off each of your first two orders if you spend over $25 per delivery now through Nov. 18.
To try out the offer, head to Amazon and type “Uber Eats” in the search bar. At the top of the results, you’ll see a banner with the logo, and you’ll be asked to grant Uber access to your Amazon profile. The embedded service looks and works similarly to Uber Eats. Amazon is also sending emails to Prime members.

However, you may not find all your local restaurants through this version. Amazon’s press release says to expect a “selection similar to what is available on the Uber Eats app.” Neither service has clarified why a restaurant would be available on one service and not the other.
This marks the end of Grubhub’s partnership with Amazon, which dates back to 2022 and was made “permanent” in 2024. The option meant you could access Grubhub+ for free with a Prime membership, but the benefit ended on Nov. 5 for all members. That seemed like a better deal, as Prime members got free delivery on Grubhub orders over $12 versus $25.
