  • Tomorrow Is a Big Day for a Popular Altcoin: An Update Is Coming That Will Bring Six Changes at Once

Popular altcoin Avalanche (AVAX) is preparing for the Helicon update, which will bring significant changes to the network’s structure and staking economy.

According to the schedule announced by the Avalanche team, Helicon will be activated on the mainnet on September 22, 2026, at 6:00 PM Turkish time. The update was previously deployed on the Fuji testnet on July 28.

A total of six Avalanche Community Proposals will be implemented, including Helicon. These include a perpetual execution system for C-Chain, automatically renewing staking, a dynamic minimum gas fee, and a reduction in the minimum staking duration.

The update will also increase the expected uptime for validators and make changes to the staking reward curve. ACP-285, which will change the reward system, will be implemented gradually after Helicon is activated.

The continuous execution feature aims to increase C-Chain’s transaction capacity by allowing transactions to be prepared during idle times between blocks. The dynamic minimum gas price will also ensure that the fee floor is adjusted based on network demand.

Mainnet validators need to upgrade to AvalancheGo v1.15.0 before the hard fork. Validators that fail to update may not function properly on the network after Helicon is enabled.

  • ECB plans to buy tokenized bonds with its own funds

ECB plans to buy tokenized bonds with its own funds

The European Central Bank (ECB) plans to invest a small portion of its reserves in tokenized securities, giving the central bank direct exposure to blockchain-based financial markets.

The purchase would be settled through Pontes, the new Eurosystem platform, which allows wholesale transactions to settle in central bank money. The platform essentially bridges the ECB’s payment system to blockchain-based financial markets. The plan to invest in tokenized securities and Pontes reflects a more significant bid by central banks in the EU to adapt to the increasing use of blockchain in finance.

The ECB intends to test the technology as an investor, from buying tokenized bonds to settlement and portfolio management.

“Pontes brings the stability and trust of central bank money to the European tokenized finance ecosystem,” said Piero Cipollone, member of the ECB’s executive board. “It will give an important advantage to help it scale.”

The ECB’s initial investments would focus on euro-denominated securities issued by euro-area governments, regional authorities, agencies and European supranational institutions.

  • MemeCore Price Prediction vs MemeToro: Can AI Launchpad Utility Help $MT Challenge MemeCore’s $1.13 Momentum?

MemeCore Price Prediction vs MemeToro: Can AI Launchpad Utility Help $MT Challenge MemeCore’s $1.13 Momentum?

MemeCore is being judged by a live market near $1.13, while MemeToro is being judged by what its AI memecoin launchpad could become. This makes a direct price comparison difficult, but it also shows why both projects are getting attention. MemeCore has an established token with visible support and resistance levels.

For $MT to challenge MemeCore’s momentum, it will need more than a strong presale. It needs useful tools, a working AI agent, secure smart contracts, and real users who want to launch or trade memecoins through the platform.

The potential is large because utility can create demand, but execution remains the deciding factor.

How MemeToro Wants to Create $MT Utility

MemeToro is designed as more than a single meme token. The project plans to use an AI agent to guide the setup of new memecoin launches on $BNB Chain. The agent is intended to work with defined settings, evidence-linked inputs, and fixed funding choices instead of vague promises.

$MT is planned to support access, platform transactions, launch funding, staking, rewards, and other ecosystem features. The project also describes future memecoin trading, prediction markets, and a news portal. These features are planned, not all live today, so buyers should separate current presale facts from future goals.

The utility case depends on a simple chain:

    • creators use the launchpad
    • activity creates a reason to hold or use $MT
    • transparent rules help build user trust
    • wider usage may support long-term demand

That is a more detailed value plan than pure meme hype. If MemeToro turns those plans into a working product, $MT could have a use case that reaches beyond short-term price speculation.

MemeCore’s $1.13 Momentum Is Already Being Tested

MemeCore’s M token has traded near $1.13, which gives it a clear advantage in market visibility. Traders can watch price action in real time and use chart levels to make decisions. A support zone around $1.1065 has been highlighted by market models, while the $1.20 to $1.25 area is a key resistance band.

If M moves above resistance with strong demand, traders may see a stronger momentum signal. If it loses support, the market may become more cautious. Some forecast models point to $1.76 over a 12-month period, but forecasts are based on assumptions and can fail quickly in volatile memecoin markets.

MemeCore does not need to prove that its token can trade. It already trades. MemeToro has the opposite task. It needs to prove that its AI launchpad can work in public, attract creators, and provide a reason for users to return after the presale.

Why AI Launchpad Utility Could Give $MT a Different Path

MemeToro is not trying to copy MemeCore’s existing price chart. It is trying to create a different reason for buyers to care about $MT. Its public fair-launch code is designed to lock creator settings, stop insider allocations, and direct launch funds only toward refunds or liquidity under the contract rules.

The planned AI agent could make this system easier for ordinary creators to use. Instead of writing every token rule by hand, users could receive help setting supply, funding, and distribution choices. That could lower the barrier for newcomers while keeping core rules visible.

Important work remains before this becomes a live advantage:

    • testnet deployment on $BNB Chain
    • real liquidity execution
    • AI manifest connection
    • independent security review

If these steps are completed well, MemeToro presale could stand out as an infrastructure play within the memecoin market. That is an ambitious path, and it carries early-stage risk. Still, real utility is often a stronger long-term story than hype alone.

    FAQs

Is $MT priced like MemeCore today?

No. $MT is in a presale at $0.00430, while MemeCore trades in the open market near $1.13. The prices alone do not show which project is larger or better.

What is the main planned use of $MT?

$MT is intended for access, launch funding, transactions, staking, rewards, and other planned MemeToro ecosystem functions.

Does an AI agent guarantee better launches?

No. An AI agent can help organize choices, but smart contract security, user demand, and clear launch rules are still essential.

  • Crypto Giants Resume Buying! Notable Movement in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana! Here are the Details

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and altcoins have seen significant price increases in recent days. At this point, treasury companies have also started buying again.

First, Strategy, the world’s largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder, made purchases again after weeks.

According to a statement by Strategy founder Michael Saylor, Strategy purchased an additional 950 Bitcoin. This brings the company’s total Bitcoin holdings to 846,000 BTC. The company also repurchased STRC preferred shares worth $174 million.

Saylor noted that Strategy also holds assets worth $6.09 billion, adding that the company’s dollar-denominated assets could cover current preferred stock dividends and interest payments for approximately 3.8 years.

    Ethereum Purchases Continue!

Bitmine, the world’s largest holder of Ethereum, also announced last week that it purchased an additional 27,562 $ETH, bringing its total holdings to 5,983,940. According to the announcement, this represents 4.9% of the total circulating $ETH supply.

The official statement also noted that Bitmine’s total assets, including cryptocurrency, cash, marketable securities, and strategic investment assets, have reached $17.1 billion.

This figure includes 5.98 million $ETH, 212 Bitcoin, $714 million in cash and marketable securities, $180 million worth of Beast Industries shares, and $105 million worth of Aitco Holdings shares.

Assuming the $ETH price is $2,688, Bitmine’s $ETH holdings are estimated to be worth approximately $16.1 billion.

Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee stated, “We believe a crypto bull market is continuing, driven by several factors, including the shift from AI to crypto that began in late June, the strengthening of crypto fundamentals around both tokenization and AI, and finally, the end of the 4-year cycle. In our view, $ETH’s tremendous performance in Q3 2026 is seen as a harbinger of potentially even stronger growth in Q4 2026. Given that institutions kept their crypto investments low in early 2026, partly due to the superior performance of AI stocks in early 2026, we expect institutions to significantly increase their crypto investments in the final three months of 2026.”

    Solana Procurement Announced Too!

Last week, Nasdaq-listed company DeFi Development Corp. announced it had purchased an additional 101,381 Solana tokens, bringing its total $SOL holdings to 2.49 million. The company also added that it plans to use its $SOL holdings for staking, validator operations, and on-chain financial infrastructure, depending on market conditions and risk management standards.

  • Shiba Inu (SHIB) Secures Key Price Breakout

Shiba Inu (SHIB) Secures Key Price Breakout

Shiba Inu is attempting one of its more important technical breakouts in months, with $SHIB finally challenging the long-term resistance that has capped its recovery since the summer.

    Shiba Inu pushes through

$SHIB currently trades around $0.00000571, following an intraday push to approximately $0.00000579. The critical development is the interaction with the black long-term moving average on the daily chart. This level has been declining for months and has repeatedly functioned as an overhead barrier. $SHIB has now pushed marginally above it, putting the market in a position to confirm a broader trend change.

    $SHIB/USDT Chart by TradingView

The rest of the moving-average structure has already improved considerably. $SHIB trades above its shorter moving averages clustered around $0.00000505–$0.00000525, while those averages have started turning upward. The RSI has climbed above 60 but remains below overbought territory, giving the breakout some room before momentum becomes excessively stretched.

Volume has also expanded during the latest advance, although it remains below the extreme spikes accompanying some previous $SHIB breakouts.

Exchange data introduces one significant risk. Exchange reserves increased 0.14%, while total netflow rose 1.06%. Total inflows increased 0.86%, compared with a 0.73% increase in outflows. More notably, the seven-day moving average of mean exchange inflows jumped 24.12%.

That does not automatically mean investors are preparing to sell, but increasing exchange deposits generally increase the amount of $SHIB immediately available for trading and potential distribution. It therefore creates additional supply-side pressure precisely as $SHIB tests an important resistance level.

    Major target is next

Technically, confirmation now matters more than the initial breakout. $SHIB needs to maintain daily closes above roughly $0.00000560–$0.00000570. If it succeeds, the next target becomes $0.00000600, followed by the previous spike around $0.00000620.

Failure to hold the breakout would put $0.00000540 back into focus. Below that, the moving-average cluster around $0.00000500–$0.00000520 provides considerably stronger support.

$SHIB has therefore cleared the first major obstacle, but the breakout is not yet comfortably established. Holding above the long-term moving average while absorbing rising exchange inflows would provide much stronger confirmation than the initial move alone.

  • Ethereum’s next move: $2,760 if bulls hold, $2,600 if they don’t

Ethereum’s next move: $2,760 if bulls hold, $2,600 if they don’t

Ethereum’s latest breakout extends a trend that has steadily shifted support higher. The recent pullback at $2,560 and a brief test of lower support at $2,550. Following this, buyers re-entered the market, pushing the price to a new high in the $2,600 to $2,700 range.

The move accelerated between the 20th and the 21st of September as Ethereum [$ETH] reached $2,712 before declining slightly, settling around the $2,700 level. Volume also increased during this time, indicating greater participation in the increase.

    Source: TradingView

Meanwhile, RSI climbed to 68.66, approaching overbought territory. Despite that, it did not cross that threshold, which is above 70. A sustained move above $2,700 would reinforce the breakout and keep higher resistance levels within reach.

The current strength indicates the potential for a short-term cooling after the large gain. However, the structure still appears supportive so long as $2,560 continues to hold.

    $ETH whale demand strengthens

Ethereum’s recent breakout has attracted significant spot demand from larger holders, adding depth to the move above $2,700. Wallet 0x4cee purchased 7567 $ETH worth approximately $19.9 million after transferring stablecoins to Binance.

This purchase stood out due to the fact that the same wallet sold 10500 $ETH a month ago for an average price of about $2252 per $ETH.

The buyer secured $3.66 million in profits on that sale. This indicates that the trader is more convinced of an upside potential than during the earlier sale.

    Source: LookOnChain

Notably, the recently purchased $ETH was transferred from Binance, reducing the supply immediately available for resale. As such, this represents a much stronger positive demand indicator than if the investor had established a leverage position.

If similar accumulation continues, whale buying could reinforce the breakout and help $ETH sustain prices above $2,700.

    Can $ETH hold $2,700?

Ethereum’s breakout now faces a derivatives market that supports momentum without showing excessive leverage. Hyperliquid holds roughly $3 billion in $ETH Open Interest, yet funding remains slightly positive.

    Source: Loris Tool

On the other hand, short liquidation volumes reached $170 million as Ethereum forced short-sellers to buy back their positions during the upward breakout through $2,700.

When prices surged past resistance, forced market orders from liquidated short positions acted as secondary buying pressure. As a result, they accelerated the upward momentum toward $2,712.

    Source: CoinGlass

In turn, buying pressure will increase the upward speed of prices, but it may fade as soon as all shorts are liquidated. As a result, $ETH will need to get spot buyers to replace that temporary demand and defend $2,700

Whale accumulation strengthens this setup, while mixed ETF flows leave confirmation incomplete. Holding $2,700 could open $2,760. Consequently, if it loses $2600, it could lead to weakened momentum.

    Final Summary

    • Ethereum holds near $2,700 as whale buying and short liquidations support the breakout.
    • $ETH needs sustained Spot demand above $2,700 to target $2,760 and preserve bullish momentum.
  • Google and Apple seek crypto talent as Big Tech eyes stablecoin and tokenization rails

Google and Apple are seeking employees with expertise in digital assets, adding to signs that Big Tech firms are preparing for a larger role for stablecoins, tokenization and blockchain-based payments.

Google Cloud is hiring an Industry Principal Architect in Hong Kong to work with protocol foundations, exchanges, custodians and financial institutions to tokenize real-world assets across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

The role calls for experience with blockchain networks, smart contracts, stablecoin infrastructure, tokenized deposits and custody technologies. Google said the hire would advise executives and help shape its Web3 product roadmap as it seeks to become the preferred cloud provider for digital-asset builders and institutional adopters.

Apple is also expanding into digital assets. It is looking for an Apple Pay Financial Product Strategy Lead based in Cupertino, California or New York.

The listings do not confirm that either company is launching a new crypto product, but it does show that stablecoins and tokenized deposits are becoming relevant expertise inside two of the world’s largest tech and payments ecosystems, rather than remaining the preserve of crypto-native firms.

Hana Bank issues South Korea’s first digital bond using Euroclear’s blockchain

Hana Bank issued a $100 million digital bond through Euroclear’s blockchain settlement platform, completing the transaction the same day, the Yohnap Agency reported Monday.

This was the first time a Korean financial institution directly used the international depository’s distributed ledger infrastructure, the bank said, ranked second in South Korea with nearly $500 billion in client assets under management. Euroclear is a Brussels-based financial services company and one of the world’s largest central securities depositories (CSDs).

It shows how tokenization could make capital markets faster and more efficient. In this case, a traditional multi-day bond settlement process was replaced with same-day settlement on a distributed ledger.

“The $100 million digital bond issuance and implementation of T+0 settlement represent a significant step beyond simply diversifying our funding channels, as they bring blockchain technology into the capital market,” a Hana Bank official said, according to the Korea Herald. “We will continue to adopt advanced infrastructure and explore innovative funding solutions that meet the needs of global investors.”

Hana Bank and Euroclear did not immediately respond to a CoinDesk request for information.

Curiosity Postcard Celebrates Rover?s 5,000th Day on Mars Picture: NASA
The images offer a glimpse of what life (or lack thereof) is like on the Red Planet (Picture: Nasa)

Nasa has published a brand new ‘postcard’ picture of a sand ridge on Mars.

The new shots were taken by the agency’s rover, Curiosity Mars, while it was parked at a sandy geographical feature nicknamed ‘Chocolatal’.

The pair of photos were captured at 9.56am on August 29 and 5.39pm on September 2 – Mars time – and were merged together after being sent back to Earth, creating a larger landscape shot showing morning and evening on the Red Planet.

Colour was added to the picture to bring it to life, with the blue on the right side representing morning, while the yellow on the left depicts sunset.

Curiosity is currently scanning the lower foothills of Mount Sharp, a three-mile tall mountain within Mars’ 96-mile-wide Gale Crater.

NASA?s exploratory robot used its black-and-white navigation cameras to capture panoramas at two times of day. The first was taken on August 30 at 9:56 a.m. local Mars time; the second was taken on September 2, at 5:39 p.m. local Mars time. After being sent back to Earth, the two images were merged together by NASA technicians and colour was added for an artistic interpretation of the scene, with blue representing the morning panorama and yellow representing the afternoon one. The crater’s rim is barely visible on the horizon of the picture, which was taken towards the hole’s floor.

The first image was taken on Curiosity’s 5000th Martian day, or sol, of its mission. A Martian day is around 39 minutes longer than a day on Earth.

Last month, Nasa released a panorama of 323 individual images taken by Curiosity’s mast camera between August 1 and 2 of a valley named ‘Valle Grande’.

Colour was again adapted to match the lighting conditions as they would be seen by the human eye on Earth.

The shot caught the rover’s tracks fading into the distance, showing where the robotic searcher had travelled through the valley.

Approximately the size of a car, the robotic rover was built by Nasa’s jet propulsion laboratory and is managed from Pasadena in California.

The rover has been on Mars since 2012 to find signs of microbial life.

Curiosity reached a milestone in August when it accumulated 1km of elevation as it climbed the slope of Mount Sharp.

It has also collected 42 powderised rock samples from holes drilled into the surface by its robotic arm.
