    Standings

    3. WHAT’S TRENDING – WILD WEST: WIN STREAKS & SCORCHING STARS

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Victor Wembanyama, Luka Dončić

The top three teams in the West – the Thunder, Spurs and Lakers – are all riding 5+ game win streaks, each led by three sizzling superstars: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Victor Wembanyama and Luka Dončić.

Thunder Rolling: At an NBA-best 56-15, OKC has won 11-straight, powered by the reigning Kia MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who sits atop Shaun Powell’s current Kia MVP Ladder.

    • SGA Cooking: Shai’s NBA-record 20-point streak has reached 131 straight games, scoring 40 in two of OKC’s last three outings
    • OKC Clamping: Defensively, the defending champs continue to impose their will, leading the league in DefRtg, opponent FG% and points off turnovers
    • All-Star Boost? Per reports, tonight could see Jalen Williams return to the lineup, after JDub’s been out since Feb. 11 with a hamstring injury

Spurs Surging: Three games back of OKC sits San Antonio, winners of five straight, with an NBA-best 21-2 record since Feb. 1.

    • Fueling The Fire? Wembanyama, who is 10-0 in his last 10 games, averaging 26.8 pts, 10.6 reb and 3.6 blk in that span
    • Playoff Clincher: That includes Wemby’s walk-off winner on Thursday to punch San Antonio’s first Playoff ticket since 2019
    • “He’s been phenomenal,” said Keldon Johnson of Wemby after the win. “He’s playing at an MVP-type level. It’s hard to deny what he’s doing on both ends of the court.”

    LeBron James, Luke Kennard

Lake Show Streaking: Right above Wemby (No. 3) on the Kia MVP Ladder stands Dončić, who has fueled the 3rd-place Lakers’ nine-game heater with an all-time scoring tear.

Meanwhile, LeBron James continues to summit all-time lists.

    • Luka & Wilt Only: Dončić is posting an absurd 40 pts, 8.4 reb and 7.4 ast amid the Lakers’ win streak, joining Chamberlain as the only players to ever average 40+ ppg amid a 9-0 run
    • Games Played King: LeBron has shined on both ends during the streak (19 pts, 7.3 reb, 5.5 ast, 1.7 stl), capped by his 1,612th game on Saturday to pass Robert Parish for the most games played
    • Saturday’s Cherry On Top? A Luke Kennard game-winner in the final second to beat Orlando, moving Los Angeles to an NBA-best 22-6 in clutch games this season

    Kevin Durant, Amen Thompson

Special Saturday: That wasn’t the only game-winner on Saturday – and LeBron wasn’t the only superstar to hit a legendary milestone. Kevin Durant passed Michael Jordan for 5th on the all-time scoring list, before Amen Thompson beat the buzzer to top Miami.

    • “MJ is in a world of his own,” said Durant on the achievement. “It’s kind of crazy passing him up, because he meant so much to the game … but I want to keep it going.”
    • Stacked Race: Houston (43-27) sits 4th in the West, in a virtual tie with Denver and Minnesota (both 44-28)
    • Play-In Push: The 8th-place Clippers keep climbing, sitting 4 GB of 7th-place Phoenix behind Kawhi Leonard’s career-high 28.3 ppg
    • Steph Spark? In 10th sits Golden State, which could receive a big boost as Steph Curry – who has missed the last 21 games (knee) – plans to begin participating in full team practices in the coming days

    4. WHAT’S TRENDING – EAST HEAT & A JAM-PACKED POSTSEASON PUSH

    Jalen Duren

The top of the East is also heating up, with three of its top four teams – Detroit (1st), New York (3rd) and Cleveland (4th) – riding win streaks.

Detroit Answers: After losing Cade Cunningham to a collapsed lung on Tuesday, the East-leading Pistons have won three straight, on the strength of their All-Star big and relentless defense.

    • Duren Delivering: Jalen Duren is averaging 27.7 pts and 9.3 reb since Cunningham went down, including a career-high 36 points on Tuesday to beat Washington
    • Defense Driving: While Cade is out for at least two weeks, Detroit can still lean on its defense to generate opportunity, leading the league in caused turnovers (17.1), steals (10.5) and blocks (6.3)
    • Rare Disruption: That disruption hasn’t been seen in more than three decades, as no team has averaged 10+ steals and 6+ blocks in the same season since 1991-92
    • Winning Results: Detroit (51-19) is off to its 4th-best 70-game start in franchise history, trailing only its 2005-06 (made East Finals) and 1988-89 & ‘89-90 teams (both won NBA titles)
    • Streaks Collide: Tonight, the Pistons host the Lakers on League Pass (7 ET)

Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson, James Harden, Donovan Mitchell

Heating Up: While Boston and New York jockey for position in 2nd and 3rd, another team is right on their tails: Cleveland.

    • Cavs Clicking: Capped by a 15-point comeback in the final 10:13 on Saturday, the Cavs have won three straight, moving just 2.5 GB of the 3rd-place Knicks
    • Dynamic Duo: The Cavs are 13-4 with James Harden in the lineup, while Donovan Mitchell continues to shine late, leading the league in total 4Q points with 477 – 66 more than the next closest player

Jalen Johnson, VJ Edgecombe, Kon Knueppel

An Even Closer Chase: Behind Cleveland, six teams – from the 5th-place Raptors to the 10th-place Hornets – are separated by just 2.5 games.

    • Hawks Soaring: The hottest of the six squads is Atlanta (39-32), which is 12-1 in its last 13 to move a half-game back of Toronto
    • Flying High: Nickeil Alexander-Walker has posted 21.9 ppg amid that run, while Jalen Johnson continues his elite all-around season (22.7 pts, 10.4 reb, 8 ast), joining Nikola Jokić as the only players averaging at least 22/10/8
    • Philly Fighting: Also 39-32 are the Sixers, who have won four of their last five despite being without Tyrese Maxey (finger)
    • Next Man Up: Quentin Grimes is scoring a team-high 23 ppg in that span, while rookie VJ Edgecombe has stuffed the stat sheet (19.4 pts, 7.2 reb, 5.6 ast)
    • Back Buzzing: Don’t forget about Charlotte, which is 5-1 in its last six, with LaMelo Ball, Kon Knueppel and Brandon Miller powering the league’s top OffRtg since Jan. 1

    5. SPURS-HEAT, WARRIORS-MAVS TONIGHT ON PEACOCK, AND WHAT’S NEXT

    Victor Wembanyama, Bam Adebayo

Victor Wembanyama’s game-winner on Thursday didn’t just secure the Spurs a Playoff berth – it put their rapid rise into full perspective.

In 2023-24, Wemby’s rookie season, the Spurs went 22-60. Last season, they eclipsed that total in early February, just before Wemby was lost for the season due to deep vein thrombosis.

Now, they’re 53-18 – their first 50+ win season since 2016-17, with more on the table.

    • “The first instinct is to be proud of it and to love it because you’re part of it,” said Wembanyama of the postseason berth. “But the key for me is to try to not care… I’m scared to become complacent.”

Tonight on Peacock (7 ET), Wemby’s Spurs visit the Heat, seeking their sixth straight win to keep pressure on the Thunder. And like OKC, San Antonio’s success runs deeper than its superstar.

    • Balanced Buckets: Amid their 21-2 run, the Spurs have seven players averaging 10+ ppg, led by Wemby (24.6) and guards De’Aaron Fox (17.3) and Stephon Castle (16.3)
    • Balanced Winning: That’s led to the league’s top OffRtg in that span, while San Antonio ranks 5th in DefRtg, resulting in an NBA-best +12.3 point differential amid its 21-2 stretch
    • Offensive Heat: Bam Adebayo and Miami have also found another level, leading the league in scoring since the All-Star break (123 ppg)

    Cooper Flagg, De’Anthony Melton

Out West, the Warriors take on the Mavericks (9:30 ET, Peacock). It’s an opportunity for 10th-place Golden State to close the gap on Portland, which holds a 1.5-game lead for 9th.

    • Golden Luster: De’Anthony Melton has averaged 17.6 ppg across his last seven starts, pitching in offensively with Steph Curry out
    • Raise The Flagg: For Dallas, Cooper Flagg is on pace to be the youngest player in league history to lead his team in total points, rebounds and assists in a season

What’s Next: More marquee national games take center stage this week, with postseason position on the line:

Tuesday On NBC: The 8th-place Magic face the Cavs (8 ET), before the Nuggets visit the Suns in a pivotal West clash (8 PT).

Wednesday On ESPN: The surging Hawks take on the Pistons (7 ET), followed by Rockets-Wolves (9:30 ET).

Thursday On NBA TV: The streaking Knicks meet another rising East squad in the Hornets (7 ET).

Friday On NBA TV: Adebayo and the Heat face the Cavs (7:30 ET) before the Mavs visit the Blazers (10 ET).

  • NBA Fantasy — Salary Cap Edition: Week 23 update

NBA Fantasy — Salary Cap Edition: Week 23 update

The Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 61.8 fantasy points per game across his last six outings.

April is fast-approaching. The pressure is on. Stakes are high.

Only three weeks remain for fantasy general managers in NBA Fantasy — Salary Cap Edition to try and climb the leaderboards of their respective leagues. But in that time, success can be had.

Here’s what you need to know entering Week 23:

    Last week’s story

With the postseason three weeks away, the Oklahoma City Thunder (56-15) are heating up once again. They’ve won 11 contests in a row and 16 of their last 18. That scintillating stretch has earned them a three-game lead for first place in the Western Conference.

Fantasy GMs with Thunder players on their rosters have enjoyed similar success. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been on an exceptional run, averaging 61.8 fantasy points per game (FPPG) across his last six outings. He now ranks sixth with 3,299 total fantasy points (TFP).

Outside of the reigning MVP, Chet Holmgren and Ajay Mitchell have poured in points. They’ve submitted 32.2 FPPG and 26.2 FPPG, respectively, in their last five games. Gilgeous-Alexander has a team-high $18.6M salary, while Holmgren is $13.5M and Mitchell is $4.6M.

    Peak performances

Luka Dončić put on the kind of performance Thursday the purple and gold faithful hadn’t seen in a decade. He racked up 88 fantasy points for the Los Angeles Lakers (46-25) in a 134-126 victory over the Miami Heat (38-33). Along with seven rebounds, three assists and five steals, the six-time All-Star scored 60 points — the most by a Laker since Kobe Bryant’s final game in 2016. Dončić improved to 64.5 FPPG this season, and last week, averaged 71.2.

Naturally, he was followed by an all-too familiar face. Nikola Jokić tallied 73 fantasy points twice — first in Wednesday’s 125-118 loss for the Denver Nuggets (44-28) to the Memphis Grizzlies (24-46), and again in Sunday’s 128-112 triumph over the Portland Trail Blazers (35-37). Across those two efforts, the three-time MVP had 51 points scored, 28 rebounds, 23 assists, four blocks and three steals. He’s 156 fantasy points shy of 4,000 in 2025-26.

It’s been tough sledding for Darius Garland while battling injuries, but Saturday gave him something to celebrate. The seventh-year guard earned 72 fantasy points for the LA Clippers (35-36) in a 138-131 overtime victory over the Dallas Mavericks (23-48). He pitched in 41 points scored, three rebounds, 11 assists, one block and one steal for his highest fantasy score this season. Since his trade to LA, Garland has averaged 41.4 FPPG in nine games played.

    Global leaderboard

If you’re hoping to win your league, or get that extra edge for the final stretch of this season, look to the global leaders for guidance. Adam Boustani’s “Dima Maghreb” stands atop the worldwide podium with 28,647 TFP, followed by Jack Bones’ “Peace and Love” with 28,576 and Ezra Tsegaye’s “colesaidimdreamville” with 28,370. Interestingly, all three of those fantasy GMs hail from the United Kingdom.

There’s considerable overlap between their rosters. All three feature Jokić, Maxime Raynaud, Collin Gillespie, Isaiah Collier and Ryan Rollins. Jokić is no doubt the biggest name on that list, and a cornerstone for any successful fantasy team, with league-high marks of 3,844 TFP and 68.6 FPPG. He’s the only player in the game to cost upward of $20M with a current salary of $22.8M, but time and again, has proved to be worth every penny.

Gillespie and Rollins are the two highest-value players in 2025-26 with 31.4 FPPG on $5.6M and 38.4 FPPG on $6.7M, respectively. With proven production on a budget, they’re wise additions for anyone. Raynaud and Collier, meanwhile, are recent risers thanks to elevated roles on their respective teams. Now priced at $5.2M, Raynaud has averaged 37.7 FPPG across his last eight outings, while Collier — at $8.9M — is responsible for 38.3 FPPG through eight.

  • Rahel Solomon to Exit CNN

    Rahel Solomon to Exit CNN

Rahel Solomon, an up-and-coming personality at CNN who was most recently anchoring one of the network’s earliest hours of programming, is leaving the Warner Bros. Discovery-backed outlet.

“I have decided that this will be my last week at CNN. More to come on what’s next for me, but I’m really excited about this next chapter,” Solomon said during a Monday broadcast of her show, “Early Start.” She touted her role working as a business correspondent for CNN. ” I have covered everything from inflation to the job market, and everything in-between. It has been an honor. It has been a privilege.”

Solomon essentially “opens” CNN’s programming schedule each weekday morning, leading the network’s first original hour of daytime schedule (Elex Michaleson signs off at 2 a.m. eastern, and CNN typically shows repeats and some hours of curated programming before Solomon’s show). The show, initially unveiled under the title “5 Things with Rahel Solomon,” debuted in March of 2025.

Solomon previously worked as a business correspondent for CNN International, covering such events as the 2023 U.S. banking crisis and d the emergency takeover of Credit Suisse by UBS. She joined CNN in 2022 after a stint at CNBC, where she worked as a general news reporter appearing on programs including “Halftime Report” and “Power Lunch.” Solomon also logged a stint as a morning news anchor for KYW in her hometown of Philadelphia.

Solomon graduated from St. John’s University, earning a bachelor’s degree in finance. She also earned a master’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

  • Xbox lines up a Partner Preview showcase for March 26

Microsoft has locked in its second games showcase of the year. A Xbox Partner Preview stream will take place on March 26 at 1PM ET. It’ll be available on the Xbox YouTube and Twitch channels. There’ll be dedicated Twitch and YouTube streams with ASL interpretation, another featuring British Sign Language and one with audio descriptions in English on the main Xbox YouTube channel.

The YouTube stream will be in 4K at 60fps (other channels are limited to 1080p) and have subtitle support for nearly three dozen languages. The broadcast will be available on regional Xbox channels as well.

This showcase is all about upcoming games from Xbox’s third-party partners. It will feature an in-depth look at Ryu Ga Gotoku’s Stranger Than Heaven (formerly known as Project Century), an update on Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl and the latest peek at The Expanse: Osiris Reborn. Along with those, expect some world premieres. Of course, many of these projects will be coming to Game Pass.

  • Wheely, an on-demand chauffeur app, makes its US debut in NYC

When the Uber Black isn’t premium enough, New Yorkers now have the option to call for a Wheely instead. Whimsical name aside, the London-based company is breaking into the US market by offering its chauffeur-hailing services to residents of New York City first, as first reported by Bloomberg. Think of it like Uber, but for business executives and VIPs who prefer better service and riding in Cadillacs and Mercedes.

“New York has long been requested by our customers, whether that be New Yorkers who have traveled with us in Europe and the Middle East, or our international clients who regularly visit the city,” Anton Chirkunov, founder and CEO of Wheely, said in a press release.

Using the Wheely app on several smartphones.

    Wheely

Besides its black car Business SUV service, New Yorkers can opt for Wheely First that offers a Mercedes-Benz S-Class W223 filled with amenities like Fiji water and towels. For a more dedicated service, Wheely has its Perfect Airport Pickup where drivers will track flights to line up a pickup, and the Chauffeur for a Day option that lets users reserve a chauffeur that will also pick up friends and family or run errands for you. For interested drivers in New York City, Wheely will port over its in-house “Chauffeur Academy,” which is expected to grow to a network of 5,000 qualified drivers over the next five years.

While Wheely currently operates in London, Paris and Dubai, the company plans to expand to five major US cities within the next three years. According to Bloomberg, Wheely is considering markets in Texas, Miami and Palm Beach, Fla. as well as Washington, D.C. Wheely’s entry into the US market comes about a week after the announcement of the Uber Elite program, which targets a similar demographic. However, Uber Elite is only available in Los Angeles and San Francisco currently, with plans to expand to New York soon. However, Uber may have Wheely beat when it comes to hailing a helicopter, thanks to its upcoming Uber Air option.

  • Aster DEX Launches Stage 6 Buyback Reserve for ASTER

Aster DEX Launches Stage 6 Buyback Reserve for ASTER

Aster DEX has launched its Stage 6 strategic buyback program to help stabilize the $ASTER token amid ongoing market ups and downs. The program executes token repurchases from a dedicated strategic wallet.

🚨JUST IN: $ASTER DEX ACTIVATES STAGE 6 BUYBACK RESERVE FOR $ASTER

Aster DEX (@Aster_DEX) has launched its Stage 6 strategic buyback program.

The move aims to support $ASTER amid current market conditions. Repurchases are being executed from a designated strategic wallet.

    — BSCN (@BSCNews) March 23, 2026

Moreover, all transactions are fully on-chain and publicly visible, demonstrating Aster’s commitment to transparency. This approach allows the community to track the program in real time and boosts confidence in the platform’s strategy.

Aster Stage 6 Buyback Program Explained

The Stage 6 buyback program began on February 4, 2026. It allocates up to 80% of daily platform fees for $ASTER token repurchases. Specifically, 40% of fees are used automatically, while the remaining 40% can adjust based on market conditions.

By reducing the circulating supply, the buybacks aim to support $ASTER’s price and create value for holders. Furthermore, the on-chain verification ensures transparency, which strengthens investor trust. Therefore, this strategy combines both market support and accountability.

    Community Response to Buybacks

The Stage 6 program has received a mostly positive response from the community. Many users praised the visibility of all transactions, which allows them to follow each buyback closely. In addition, they see the program as a clear sign of Aster’s confidence in $ASTER.

However, some community members have questioned whether the buybacks will significantly affect $ASTER’s price. While buybacks can influence market perception, the actual impact depends on the size of purchases compared to total token supply. Even so, most holders view the program as a proactive step that could help stabilize the token over time.

How Buybacks Reflect Broader Crypto Trends

Aster DEX’s Stage 6 program fits within a larger trend of crypto projects using buybacks to manage token economics. Similar to stock repurchases in traditional markets, buybacks reduce supply and can support token prices.

Importantly, Aster combines automatic and flexible repurchases. This dual approach allows the platform to respond to market changes while maintaining consistent support. Consequently, the program balances steady action with adaptability, which is critical during volatile periods.

Benefits and Outlook for $ASTER Holders

For $ASTER holders, Stage 6 buybacks signal Aster’s ongoing commitment to supporting token value. Reduced supply may help maintain price levels, while on-chain transparency lets investors track progress and evaluate execution.

Although immediate price moves may vary, the program strengthens $ASTER’s long-term stability. Looking forward, Aster will continue executing buybacks efficiently while monitoring market reactions. By combining predictable actions with flexible strategies, the platform reinforces trust and confidence among its community.

Ultimately, Aster’s Stage 6 buyback program highlights how crypto projects can actively manage tokens, maintain transparency, and navigate market volatility. With clear strategies and open communication, Aster demonstrates a strong commitment to both its holders and long-term token health.

  • After $SIREN’s $1.2B Surge, Pi Community Asks: Is Pi Next to Explode on Binance?

After $SIREN’s $1.2B Surge, Pi Community Asks: Is Pi Next to Explode on Binance?

    • Pi Network gains traction across major exchanges, but Binance listing delay keeps investors questioning its future growth and mainstream adoption potential.

    • Despite strong community support and 86% Binance poll backing, Pi price remains weak near $0.19, showing consolidation rather than a breakout trend.

    • Pi community remains divided as some see Binance listing as a catalyst, while others believe long-term value depends on ecosystem growth, not exchanges.

The Pi Network rumour mill never really stops. But this week it is spinning faster than usual, and there is an actual reason for it.

A token called SIREN just blew past a $1.2 billion market cap almost immediately after getting listed on Binance-linked platforms, according to CoinGecko data. That one data point was all it took. Within hours, Pi community accounts were doing what they always do: connecting dots, making comparisons, and asking the same question they have been asking for two years now.

Why is Binance still not listing Pi?

It is a fair question. PiNews360, one of the more followed accounts in the Pi community, put it plainly this week. Pi has tens of millions of users spread across nearly every country on earth. Its ecosystem is growing. Its migration numbers are climbing. At some point, the argument goes, Pi simply becomes too large and too liquid for the world’s biggest crypto exchange to keep looking the other way.

What has changed in recent months is that Pi is no longer sitting on the sidelines of the broader market. It is already trading on OKX, Bitget, MEXC, Gate.io, Bybit and HTX. Most recently, Kraken quietly rolled out PI perpetual futures.

    Binance Poll Still Shapes Expectations

The current excitement is rooted in past developments. Nearly a year ago, Pi secured around 86% support in a Binance community poll, signaling strong retail demand for a listing.

Despite this overwhelming backing, Binance has yet to take the next step. The delay continues to keep the community in a wait-and-watch mode, with expectations building over time rather than fading.

    Price Struggles Despite Growing Hype

While discussions around listings are heating up, Pi’s price action remains under pressure. The token is currently trading near the $0.19 mark, stabilizing after a period of volatility and a steep decline from its earlier highs close to $3.

With a market cap of around $1.84 billion and a circulating supply of 9.81 billion tokens, Pi has struggled to maintain upward momentum. Daily trading volumes remain modest, and recent price movements suggest consolidation rather than a breakout.

    Community Split on Binance’s Importance

The debate within the community remains divided. Some usersbelieve a Binance listing could act as a major catalyst, potentially driving a strong price surge and wider adoption. Others take a different stance, arguing that Pi’s value will come from its internal ecosystem rather than reliance on centralized exchanges.
