Guard Collin Sexton is reportedly headed to the Lakers as L.A. makes a trio of free-agent additions.
Shortly after agreeing to a trade that reportedly brings Walker Kessler to town, the Los Angeles Lakers made more roster moves. Per multiple reports, the Lakers have agreed to deals with guards Collin Sexton and Quentin Grimes as well as center Sandro Mamukelashvili.

The trio will give the Lakers depth in the backcourt and up front. Sexton averaged 15.4 ppg, 2.3 rpg and 3.3 apg last season as he split 2025-26 between the Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Hornets, while Grimes emerged as a reliable scorer (13.4 ppg) and all-around player (3.6 rpg, 3.3 apg) as a reserve for the 76ers.
Mamukelashvili enjoyed a career-best scoring season with the Toronto Raptors after signing with them last summer. He posted 11.2 ppg, 4.9 rpg and 1.9 apg — all of which were career bests — but saw his production slip (5 ppg, 5 rpg, 1 apg) in the playoffs against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
