John Collins has averaged 13 ppg in each of the last eight seasons.
The Detroit Pistons will have some extra size on their frontline next season. Per ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Pistons have agreed to a three-year, $51 million deal with John Collins. Last season, Collins averaged 13.6 ppg and 5.3 rpg while shooting 55.2% overall and 40.6% on 3-pointers.

Collins provides extra scoring punch for Detroit as he has posted at least 13 points per game in each of the last eight seasons. He is a consistent offensive performer around the rim and has a capable 3-point shot (36.9% on 3-pointers in his career).
Detroit, the No. 1 team in the Eastern Conference last season with 60 wins, reportedly kept 3-point shooter Kevin Huerter in the fold on a three-year deal and traded for Thunder swingman Isaiah Joe in another reported swap as well. The Pistons also moved on from forward/center Isaiah Stewart, reportedly sending him to the Memphis Grizzlies on Draft night.
The Clippers have seen several notable changes to their roster already. Most notably, the team agreed to a reported trade with the Toronto Raptors that sends former NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard off for Gradey Dick, Brandon Ingram and future Draft capital. Early this morning, Bogdan Bogdanović reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with the Rockets.
