The Altcoins with the Highest Number of Active Users in the Past Week Have Been Announced

The top altcoin projects in the cryptocurrency market based on weekly active users have been revealed. According to the latest data, $BNB Chain tops the list with 14.4 million weekly active users. $BNB Chain is followed by Tron with 8.9 million users and Solana with 7.9 million users.

The data is based on the number of unique addresses that initiated transactions or interacted with the protocol within the last 7 days. The weekly active user metric is considered one of the key indicators for measuring user engagement, network adoption, and ecosystem activity for blockchain networks and decentralized applications.

While Layer-1 blockchain networks dominate the top of the list, Layer-2 networks like opBNB and decentralized exchanges like PancakeSwap and Uniswap also stand out with their high user numbers.

Based on weekly active user numbers, the top projects are as follows:

  11. Litecoin (LTC) – 1.2 million

  13. Uniswap (UNI) – 982.9 thousand

Looking at the changes over the last 30 days, opBNB was the project that recorded the strongest growth with a 40% increase. Polygon (22.2%), Celo (16.3%), Ethereum (6%), and Tron (5.6%) were also among the projects that increased their user base.

In contrast, Uniswap saw a 17.4% drop in weekly active users over the past 30 days, while $NEAR Protocol experienced a 17.1% decrease, Solana a 4.3% drop, Litecoin a 2.5% decrease, PancakeSwap a 2% decrease, and Bitcoin a 1% decrease.
