A veteran pilot says he has seen a raft of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) over the last four years.
Steve Frazer, 48, first saw a mysterious… something zipping through the skies above Brussels, Belgium, in 2022.
Since then, the pilot of 27 years has noticed the same flashing lights ‘six or seven’ times, including last month.
He initially chalked the glowing orbs up to military aircraft that might be refuelling but says other pilots in the Netherlands have seen them, too.
One fellow pilot even radioed to ask about any military activity.
‘I saw these lights when I was working and another colleague saw the lights coming back from Lithuania,’ Steve, from Sandbach, Cheshire, says.
‘We saw them in the same space and roughly the same direction but it was ever so strange.’
Steve was flying towards the light for some time but could never quite catch up to the floating lights.
‘In the little video you see the lights coming up from the ground and I seem to recall it was Brussels coming into view back towards the UK – it’s always north-westerly heading,’ he adds.
Steve compared footage of the UFO to satellites such as Starlink, Elon Musk’s constellation of metal that provides internet connection.
‘The report deserves to be logged properly’

Metro showed Steve’s footage to two UFOlogists, people who investigate the metal discs, jittery lights and fiery orbs filling the skies.
Both said it’s hard to ignore Steve’s claims, given he is a pilot of nearly three decades.
‘When someone with that background says an object does not match anything he has seen before – satellites, Starlink, military refuelling, or normal traffic – the report deserves to be logged properly,’ says Mark Christopher Lee, a filmmaker and alien hunter.
Still, there could be a more down-to-Earth explanation.
Given Belgium is a member of Nato, a Western mutual-defence alliance, the lights could be powerful drones being tested in secret.
‘That remains the most straightforward explanation for many high-quality, recurring sightings of this type,’ Lee says.
Gary Heseltine, the editor of UFO Truth Magazine, says he doesn’t blame Steve for filming the ‘baffling lights’.
‘Many UAPs are similar to the objects seen in these clips,’ Heseltine says, using a term for what UFOs are often called by government officials: unidentified anomalous phenomena.
‘They remain an enigma worthy of serious scientific research.’
Nearly one in three Brits believe that aliens have already visited Earth, according to a YouGov poll, while 7% say they have seen a UFO.
The pollster said it shows that feeling the truth is out there has become less of a fringe belief in recent years.
Still, Lee says that the UK lacks a centralised way of reporting UFO sightings. Many police forces no longer track them, and a Ministry of Defence ‘UFO hotline’ was closed in the 2000s.
It’s why the producer has long called on the government to reinstate it.
Until then, for Heseltine, the fact that Steve spoke with the press is certainly something.
‘What is to be applauded is the fact that the pilot is willing to go public about the incident,’ he adds. ‘This is to be encouraged.’
