Influencer Marcel Johnson shared a heartbreaking TikTok post just days before he died from stomach cancer aged just 32.
Marcel was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer in August 2025 and used his platform to share his journey of life with the illness.
The dad-of-five, who had hundreds of thousands of followers across TikTok and Instagram, passed away on 2 November.
His devastated wife Taylor shared the sad news on Instagram, saying ‘life will absolutely never ever be the same’.
In a heart-breaking post, Taylor wrote: “November 2 2026 @ 445pm. I lost a whole entire half of me. He fought so hard for so long. He was so tired & exhausted & in so much pain.
“Yesterday the only words Marcel said all day were to me & Dedric and it was “I’m ready to go” and that was in the morning. He still fought to hang on all day so we just got a bit more time.

Marcel gained hundreds of thousands of followers as he opened up about his treatment (celnoshell/Instagram)
“I truly don’t even have words right now. I feel like this can’t be real life. How can this be real life. I thought I was going to wake up and he was still going to be here beside me.
“I love him with my whole entire being and life will absolutely never ever be the same.”
In a final heartbreaking TikTok posted just five days before his death, Marcel shared an ‘on this day’ look at 29 October 2025 where he can be seen smiling with Taylor in the background as he grabs a drink, before the clip cut to a more recent video showing him receiving treatment for cancer and then lying in a hospital bed with Taylor by his side.
Text written across the clip read: “You better make a lifestyle change, before it’s no longer a choice.”
The post has since been flooded with messages of condolences from Marcel’s followers.
Marcel had bravely shared his cancer journey with his thousands of followers, giving a raw and candid look into his life and treatment.
In an Instagram post last month, Marcel spoke openly about the gruelling impact of his illness, writing: “I’ve got to choose peace this time. I may not get back up from another treatment.
“I can’t walk more than a few steps, can’t get myself dressed, down 125lbs and I’m officially defeated. I can’t continue this, I’m homesick.”
In a later update, Marcel could be seen back at home, smiling widely with one of his sons sat beside him.
A GoFundMe was set up to support Marcel through his treatment, which included more than 20 rounds of chemotherapy.
The funds will now be used to support Marcel’s family following his tragic death.
An update on the fundraiser reads: “As you probably know now, Marcel has passed away after a long and tough battle of Stage 4 Stomach Cancer.
“He beat the odds the doctor gave him but ultimately he was at peace and ready to not be in pain.
“We are now raising money for Taylor and their beautiful five boys during this rough time. Anything is appreciated!”
