TikTok influencer Marcel Johnson has tragically died aged just 32 after admitting to his wife he was ‘ready to go’.
The dad-of-five, with almost 900,000 followers on TikTok, suffered with stage 4 stomach cancer, as he documented his battle with the illness on social media.
His wife, Taylor, announced his death on Instagram, confirming that he died on Monday afternoon (2 November.)
In a heartbreaking post, she said she felt she had lost her ‘whole entire half’ and explained how Johnson had been exhausted and in pain before his passing.

She penned: “November 2 2026 @ 445pm. I lost a whole entire half of me. He fought so hard for so long. He was so tired & exhausted & in so much pain.
“Yesterday the only words Marcel said all day were to me & Dedric and it was “I’m ready to go” and that was in the morning. He still fought to hang on all day so we just got a bit more time.
“I truly don’t even have words right now. I feel like this can’t be real life. How can this be real life. I thought I was going to wake up and he was still going to be here beside me.
“I love him with my whole entire being and life will absolutely never ever be the same.”
Marcel had been sharing his cancer journey with his followers since his diagnosis in August 2025, offering a raw and personal look into his life and treatment.

Through sharing his story and the realities of his treatment, he gained a large following, with tributes pouring in to remember him following his death.
In a recent post shared a week before his death, he admitted how the cancer had taken a toll on his body.
“Can’t walk more than a few steps, can’t get myself dressed, down 125lbs and I’m officially defeated. I can’t continue this, I’m homesick,” he said in a heartbreaking post.

A GoFundMe had previously been set up to help raise donations to support him in his treatment after announcing he had lost his health insurance despite his cancer battle.
“I recently lost my health insurance while still actively fighting Stage 4 cancer,” he said.
“From this point forward, any donations made to my GoFundMe will be going directly toward my medical care, treatments, appointments, medications, and the expenses that come with continuing this fight without insurance.
“This journey has already taken so much, and having to worry about how I’m going to pay for the care I need is a weight I never expected to carry. But I’m still here. I’m still fighting. And I’m not giving up.
“Whether you donate, share my story, pray for me, or simply continue supporting my family, thank you. Every single dollar, share, prayer, and message means more than I could ever put into words.”
